Nicole, you are my hero. You have the best job. Your love for the automobile, is so genuine, that we all feel your excitement... I'm amazed at how humble and reserve you are, when you are driving these outlandish vehicles. A lot of shows have people driving amazing cars, but the cars you drive are usually one of a kind. I've noticed a running theme with your videos. Only someone as beautiful, as gracious, and experienced as yourself, could get these people to let you drive something they've never let anybody else drive. It seems like they enjoy riding in the passenger seat, as much as driving them. You and your videos, put a smile on my face, and make me feel good. I truly enjoy what you do. Thanks for the encouragement to do more. The level of production is very time consuming. We research and put weeks into pre-production for every episode, then shoot for 2 days in 4k with well over 1TB of footage, then edit for 100-140 hours per episode. Getting these out monthly is as fast as we can given our small team and even smaller budget. Lately, to keep our sanity, we slow them down to however many weeks they take, 4-8 weeks in all reality. Would love to do more, but that would require massive budgets and a whole lot more people on our production crew. For now, this is what we can put forth without killing ourselves to do it!

Nicole., you need one, you do look cool driving that . I always to do something similar to with like a 71 Ford Pinto, stretch like that, dropped, maybe chopped, the most wicked Ford big block, and periscope hacked into the to roof to view over the engine. I have owned 4 Pintos, a street sleeper with a Boss 302 driveline, brakes, suspension, and all looked stock. Similiar 351 powered but fat tires and mustang 351hood scoop, that said" Do you wanna race? How dare you". So these were cool, but evil. Then the stars aligned, a 429 cop car frame was shrunk and with a full 8 point cage stuffed under another Pinto body with tilt front , my friends, my employer and a brother thought I was not right the head and still helped in their garages, back yards, and well equipped old metal fab shop on a lot of weekends. Well this got one of the friends thinking he needed a Pinto for his 460 ford cop car, started that all over again, partially finished, but my employer died, lost my job, and that shop. I was somehow by convinced eager Air Force recruiter, the armed forces and I needed each-other, so off to the other side of the country. After that, I somehow found that poor project dusty, derelict , outside in over-grown grass next to an airport. That end my hot-rot building hobby, 1980, The Frankenbug brought my old Pinto fantasy hot-rod, maybe I'll just make a Photoshop image for the dream. Crazy dreams, crazy life, crazy person, more, maybe If the stars and planets align again. Anyway thanks for the memory, really cool Nicole. Aloha, the"Amazon Beach Bunny" out-of-the-box girl.

An electric dragster is never going to be a “funny” car, the noise, the smell, without that the fun is over!

I love this!! There is no way something like this would ever get road registered here in Australia. The core design philosophy in my builds is that "Modern Woman" will hate it! I am not @ all inferring that you Nicole are a "Modern Woman" :0) I loved watching your reaction to the Frankenbug, you loved it but you did not want to. You broke a nail when shutting the door & then burst out laughing. :0) double thumbs up

I love that some of these masterpieces could potentially require a periscope to even drive down the road they sit so low in the buckets. This thing is too hot.

So Nicole, how did you find the steering wheel when you actually drove it? It didn't seem to be as bad as you thought it would be. You seemed to be handling it well. It looked like the thickness made it ok. Your thoughts

@@NicoleJohnsonsDetour Yeah... people had their phones out, staring and taking pics... a real head turner. I'm surprised that they even noticed the car at all with you smiling and waving. (See what I did there? 😉). They couldn't help but notice that thing.. what a beast...your were freaking...looks like you were shocked by how much power that thing had. You do such a great job on these shows, your so relatable and we can tell that you're truly interested in the back stories. Well Done.

I find it extremely attractive when a woman knows how to drive stick, she knows how the whole car works to top it all off. Nicole is definitely the finest women doing this car stuff hands down.

@@lmaothiswaronlyeffectswhit8057 She knows more than I've ever thought of knowing. Other than getting to see her, she's really good at picking their brains and getting at the motivation behind these builds. She really does a good job at putting this all together.
