Just when I was about to give up! I ran across your video in the Community of CK! I SOOOO NEEDED THIS VIDEO! It made me not want to give up and everything you've said in this video I'm facing. Like trying to remember everything that I've learned, multi tasking all over the place, and not focusing on one thing at a time. Because I really want to get it and be the best in Software Engineering. This video helped me out a lot!!!! Thank you so much!

Yes to all of this. I am going back to vanilla js so I can have a solid foundation when working with different libraries and frameworks. Reality is there is no point jumping around if the foundation isn’t solid.

2nd time through Crash Course Python. It is build a long in a sense but less full software and more simple scripts. Every now and then I can see my gains but sometimes [like today] after debugging all morning and not getting there I'm unmotivated and struggling. Comes with the gig though.

100% We call it the productive struggle and I think (although terrible discouraging at times) it makes finding the solutions so rewarding. Hope you were able to figure it out or are still pushing through it

I honestly no nothing about code, but thought I might look into and it seems to be an endless path to it. A friend of mine does it for a living and makes good money, and asked if i was ever interested in learning. So, here i am lol...

What are some websites you’d recommend for us getting beginner’s level projects from
@wizrdlizrd88054 жыл бұрын
Try Front End Mentor if you're looking for web development practice ( www.frontendmentor.io/ ). For learning the basics of html, css, and JavaScript I've been using Free Code Camp's website ( www.freecodecamp.org/learn/ ) along with their youtube tutorials. FCC has projects that you can work on along the way.

Also check out Udemy and look for courses that promise projects as the outcome!
