Ehh, well the story and graphics for sure are light years ahead, but I've played 4000 hours of ark before I quit - ark definitely has some interesting skills and raids. To me ark is still better gameplay wise.

@@GFClocked yeah I get your point there are elements of MMO in it, I just quit lost ark with 2.5k hours in it too, combat and class design is great but it’s got plenty of it’s own problems too (bots, dailies, poor levelling experience etc). Diablo is a different style, more hack and slash simple ARPG imo

I agree with a lot of what you said. My big gripe is how chunky and boring the combat is. I feel the screen is really zoomed in and only about half the play area really matters because they kind of fuzz out the edges. I hate the monetization, season pass bullshit and then they have the nerve to want $70 for a base edition of the game.

i swear, ever since that hilarious "out of seasons April joke" by that legend regarding Immortal, I knew they were going to fling together a Diablo 4 to appease fans, but lacking the depth of other ARPG's on the market cause that takes years and effort. Its going to to be a shitshow

As a D2 player, to be fair, MASSIVE class disparity and high item dependency has ALWAYS been a thing and to be honest, while playing Diablo you will always know that playing a certain build from a certain class is always going to be much more efficient at dealing with both X and Z whereas due to some different mechanics or loot goals a different build of a different class might be somewhat better for boss Y. And again a different class might be more suitable for dungeon running. Some classes in D2 are also a pain in the rear to play until you get certain items for your build. That's just the way it has always been. So really, that is very much a non-complaint although it would be a "nice-to-have" if classes are a little bit closer. "...Running the same boring dungeons..." Whether you like a dungeon or not is just subjective. Obviously I still like most of them from D2. But admittably at some point I'm just doing the same ones over and over again for the loot. And that's it. Also keep in mind... what was this game made for? It was made to be Diablo 3 "if they tried to make it look like Diablo 2". Note how I don't say "tried their hardest. It's just that they want to take one step away from Diablo 3 back in the (good) direction of Diablo 2, but obviously at this point they will be too hesitant to let go of the D3 gameplay elements so instead they are just redesigning them to make it look as if they tried to steer it into a different direction. As for story? You'd be mad to expect a good story from D4 after the mess that is D3. If you get D4 for "story" then idk wth you're thinking. And don't even get me started on a Battlepass... But yeah, this is just me mostly pointing out that your complaints aren't really saying much since you're largerly complaing about what Diablo gameplay has always had. That said, there is not a single positive thing I've seen about the game and that's coming from someone who never bought D3. Looks I'll be passing on D4 as well. Honestly, I'm just happy to play D1, D2 and D2R from time to time and otherwise the series can RIP for all I care.

That argument is made often and it’s full of absolute shit as referenced in the bloated diarrhea you spewed above. You say “it’s the same,” but it is not. Diablo 2 is fast, easy, but also complex at the same time, and it goes deep. Rolling charms, sockets into items, hunting rare runes… not to mention these rare and valuable items can be picked up by anyone. That makes them feel REAL, and yet you hold them. They thus gain high in-game value and even real-world value. The combat and visuals in D2R are fast and high-paced. It feels good all around. It looks amazing in D2R. Diablo 4 is sluggish, uninspired, and committed the same sins of 3. Non-special, boring items that cannot be traded and this convey a sense of lesser value. 3 rained the worthless legendary’s on you, and that compounded the ‘not special’ nature of them. No economy could form because there’s nothing of value. 4 is doing the same even if they did make that shit more rare. The visuals in Diablo 4 are a travesty next to D2R-look at frozen orb-looks amazing and people love it even when underpowered in D2, but in D4 it’s strong, ugly, and boring. Every time you kill Baal or whatever dungeon it’s like pulling a slot machine lever for that valuable, competitive, super rare and powerful item that is also a currency. In d3 and d4 that is gutted. What’s it all for if the reward is uninspiring? Looks generic, doesn’t carry the Diablo legacy, tries to please people that will accept anything that drops from Blizzards buttcheeks. D4 puts you on rails and rest restricts your spellbook to what, 6 spells? What the fuck are you even talking about?

Best game rant ever... I refunded the game after playing the beta and knowing how D3 and that abortion D Immortal were. I pretty much knew it would be trash but had to try it as D1 and D2 were so good way back when. Now its all serotonin crack addiction upgraditis and casino throw the dice games.

They had that since d1. You are forced into a shared world to improve ease of access. Players don't have to.worry about servers. They just play.

@@Grinchillah D2 was multiplayer too, but that's not what we're talking about specifically. We're talking about the shared world aspect. In older Diablo games, you played in player hosted instances. So you only saw other players if you joined someone else's open instance, if you set your instance to open/public so randoms could join, or if you invited people/partied up. But by default you're playing by yourself in your own instance. In other words, multiplayer in older games was something you had to manually opt into. In D4, multiplayer is mandatory. You play in public instances that automatically puts people together. And it's done that way exactly for the reason they said. So you can see other peoples' skins and stuff, which incentivizes you to buy them. It turns players into walking advertisements. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing by itself. But in this case it is because they built the game design around it. The game doesn't have mmo features because they think it's a better experience for players. It has mmo features because it's more monetizable.

Me too !!! coming from a 41 year old gamer , gaming since 1990 , dont know about this generation but they complain tooo much , IMO D3 was a shit game , too colourfull , but D4 i simply fell inlove with this game , gave me the vibe that D1 or D2 did , imagine those games been released today , pfff they would be Murdered by reviews like this , after 4-5 min of hearing this guy speaking , i felt like this guy wants attention and nothing more , The sound is amazing , the Graphics are next gen , the gameplay is awesome , ITS A PURE HACK AND SLASH!!!! Same, I like it a lot. The art is gorgeous, especially the scenery in the more gorey dungeons, they made my skin crawl for sure, which is im assuming what they were going for. The skill trees could definitely be better but it's still the best skill trees we've ever had in a diablo game. The combat feels nice on controller, which I was hoping for because I honestly despise click to move. If they add an option for WASD I would try that as well. The only small complaint I have is I think the necromancer's minions stick out like a sore thumb. I kind of would like them to match the rest of the world better, because right now they just look out of place. But, that's just a minor thing and I'll obviously still play necro even if they remain the same.

I'll throw in my 2 cents too... Totally agree and can't wait for the release either. I'm a much older gamer and the slower pace of this game with the D2 look/feel is exactly what I am after.... whinging about having to grind gear in end-game is the funniest part of that video... played a game before? tell me an MMO/ARPG that doesn't have this mechanic and i'll be shocked... (probably is a few but would be few and far between). Next gen of gamers and 'humans' in general are still stuck in this low attention span instant gratification mentality, and if it's too hard to achieve something it's well... shit right? Good luck with your gaming and in life in general, you're gunna need it. I did think he made some good comments however, it's Beta so there are issues and he wasn't wrong, but these video's are everywhere and although you are exceptional at pointing out 'issues', no one ever has a 'suggestion' as to what would make it better (even from their own perspective). It's all just pointless negative bashing on something they literally put zero effort into creating and likely have less than zero idea on what it takes to create something like this anyway. So, sure, have your negative spin but offer something in return. You never know you might be heard and things may change for everyone. I've only played D3 and after the open beta weekend.. I'm sorry but D4 is just D3 with a shiny paint over and some slight tweaks. I played Druid, cuz no Druid in D3. Got it to 25. Created one of every character to look at the skill trees. Did some theory crafting and realized, I'm not interested in D4. Blizzard didn't get rid of sets. They just pulled a hat trick and moved them. If they wanted a variety of builds all they had to do was add 5 new skills for each button. Read: Choices. Everyone would have lost their minds theorycrafting and trying to work new combos out. But no. They gave every class what amounts to the same 6-8 builds D3 had with sets. Also, why are we paying gold to respec in a loot grinder!? Who am I even giving gold to when I respec in the middle of the forest!? Those skill trees were so paint by numbers too. It was kinda insulting. Wolf skill goes with wolf skill.. Earth bender skill goes with earth bender skill.. Every character can only have one ultimate guys so I guess you'll be choosing the skills to make it not suck, won't you. Look kids, it's a set. Of skills. That only let you play a specific way. If only I could remember where I've done this before.. I honestly have no idea what Druid was in D2. I never played it. But I was a little put off to find a Druid with only one plant based power. Vine creeper ended up being the best power the class had! With nothing else that fit with it thematically at all. That was a headscratcher. Cutscenes in D4 were godlike. The writing was alright too but it seemed a little heavy handed on the misery though. I know. It's Diablo, it's supposed to be mad edgy. Still, after the ninth person you save from an awful death just dies immediately after you saved them it all just starts to mean nothing. Drop rate was nice but we all know that's a beta thing. Lastly, I had to walk over and pick up everything. I know. I know. I'm a spoiled gamer brat. But seriously, why? Pickup radius exists. Please devs. Stop taking backwards steps. Graphically D4 was a step in the right direction but from the mini map to the D3 copy dungeons to the cellar loading screens.. D4 beta just unsold me, over and over again. By Sunday night I was back in D3 seasons. Yeah it's cartoony and repetitive but at least it won't cost me $90.

I didn’t get a chance to play the beta because I discovered diablo as a series after it closed. But I was hooked. I played through all the former games (and loved each of them) I’m just a few weeks with the goal of getting to 4. I bought it and have had it for 3 days and I am going to take it back. I don’t enjoy it like the other games. I don’t like the forced online play and the constant server crashes and the game freezing and the shop being shoved in my face. And it’s boring honestly. I’d rather get my $75 back for D4 and just go back and play the other games. Maybe in a couple years I’ll pick it up again if it’s better and cheaper, but right now there I other things I could do with that money.

I'm in the same boat. THE GOOD First closed beta I was actually a bit in love, all the shiny new stuff, I didn't entirely hate the new lore, sorc was a great throwback to D2/3 while being unique, rogue was incredibly fun once I got some steam going, barb was lackluster but clearly had potential. I did also have fun with the closed beta but not open for what it was worth, and I don't actually have issues with the skill trees since I was able to play around quite a bit and make quite a few builds for sorc and rogue work, even druid had build options but none of were fun. HOWEVER - the BAD - the price tag does not at all justify what the beta presented. After having a week to reflect on the experience, all the small problems seemed to really start becoming a problem during the open beta after I had put more than 20+ hours into the game. Add on top of that the god awful Druid experience (seriously doesn't even feel like a D2 druid at ALL, unlike the sorc and necro), it played like a barbarian meets shaman, just awful. Then doing things again for the 3rd and 4th times made me realize how AWFUL a lot of the dialogue and quest bits are, lots of unskippable moments, glacial dialogue, constantly being bugged out so I can't skip dialogue unless I tab out then back into the game. Oh and that %$%#$@'ing world boss, dear god, WHY was it put in the beta on a NORMAL schedule?!?! Whoever was in charge of that decision in the beta needs to be let go, ashava should have been up every hour on the hour during beta, so people could TEST IT OUT, so people could test out legendaries too, since it's you know a beta test... Having done every single dungeon in the beta, all but like 3 or 4 were complete trash. Like you say, after putting a week into the game you'll realize you hate it, and that's why I refunded.

It´s even a bit ironic funny somehow - they have and know all the predecessors, they even remade d2 lod and (despite it´s mechanics are a bit outdated) it still works, they even know all the flaws diablo 3 had and then they make diablo 4, reject everything that worked well previously and instead recreate the problems that made diablo 3 such a ... flat and boring experience. Why these uninspired skills and the tree when nothing is in it (it´s diablo 3s skills revamped that it looks a bit like PoE, yay -_- ). Then the boring repetative dungeon combinations - even the music completly fails in the dungeons as it´s only some uninspired violin play - where it the diablo style music with the drums, kettle drums that made my blood cook rhythmic while exploring fearful the darkness - music sounds mostly like i am watching a boring drama movie. And why the hell is trading again so hard limited, the majority of the players get punished again just for to get rid of a minority selling for real money and illegal botting - i want to find stuff and then trade it with whoever got what i need for my specific build, the uniques are that way skill specific that i might never be able to get everything required on my own. It is as modern studios ignore everything, really everything that ever worked in previous games just to get a most standartized version of a franchise out just in time to keep it alive somehow and drain money out of it. For me the game lacks most of the stuff a diablo should be for not to be just a generic arpg. The game is not completly crap, sure, but a youtube commentary would exceed a discussion about what is good and why everything else is so flawless. They lost the spirit.

Idk I went into the beta solo and thought something similar but when I played with friends who never touched the series before and I saw the smile and the enjoyment kn there faces it saved it for me. I had to turn off my competitive gamer and grinder mindset and just play the game as is and absolutely fell in love with it. Sometimes we put to much expectation and hope it to it, when at the end of the day it’s a game we get on to enjoy ourselves and kill shit

I played Diablo, Diablo 2, Diablo 3, and now Beta for Diablo 4. I can truly say this is miles about what I expected. I am going to have to disagree with you here, but if you didn't enjoy it well that is okay to. Not everyone is going to enjoy a game. It is like they took the best of Diablo 2 and the smoothness of Diablo 3 combat and then added content like Strongholds, Character transmog, and now you will have mounts. Sorry, but while I respect your opinion, I don't get your perspective and to me and my friends that played the combat is very smooth and I tried all the classes, save Druid being a bit underwhelming, all the classes were fun and combat was very smooth. I even tried melee Rogue, which is amazing to solo. I was flying all around crit striking mobs and making them blow up using shadow. Yeah, it isn't perfect. I had some rubber banding and I still think they could tweak it better and to me give more hair choices at creation and maybe more faces too, but overall this is WAY WAY better than Immortal. The graphics are super good, sound is amazing and to me it had the dark creepy feel that kind of was lost a bit in Diablo 3.

After playing the beta i realized i'll not buy the game, and maybe revaluate after release, but not at 70€ lol. Too much of disappointment, combat and skill opt sucks, and worst thing is most players are happy with it, just give them a broken build with legendaries ( atm there are many ) where they can 1 shot everything with 1 skill. Diablo 4 is became even dumber than D3. And pvp, with this shallow and broken combat, will never be viable, or it will become a non sense niche. Unfortunately all the good devs left Blizzard ages ago, cuz the company is led by snakes that don't care about players. I bet 100 bucks that on day 2 someone will already be max level with uniques cuz they found one of many broken builds that let them farm in easy mode all the stuff.

(I will never read a reply) They had a pretty simple task. At worst, just reskin D3 because D3's combat is incredibly smooth and satisfying. Instead, they used some weird graphics engine that feels like a mobile game, the sounds are just plain odd and don't match the attacks or enemies, and it's quite clear that none of the developers are hardcore gamers themselves. In the dev interviews, not a single one of the developers spoke with any type of true passion. They spoke like people who had meetings bi-weekly with shareholders to take direction on how to advertise and milk the most money out of the current demographics in 2023. Hence why in almost every trailer there was a lesbian, fat, or black character- to cast a very wide net because those parties are extremely emotion driven and won't play a game where a hero looks like a hero.

I know this is a month old...but honestly I'm just about to press the refund button now :/ I actually enjoyed the open beta enough that it made me pre-order...however the current 'server slam' has taken all enjoyment out for me. Ranged rogue went pretty good. But other classes, including my usual main (Druid) were just awful. I can take difficult game, but I find D4 feels more tedious....but tbh what really has done it for me. A hard PC crash. Had maybe 4 or 5 more hits on a boss (Den Mother, as a Druid) and my screen went black and red and rebooted. Only game to do that so far to my PC. That's also ignoring the fact a full price game has a cash shop, which I ignored before (despite despising).

Last weekend I had a blast with my Druid. I used 2 legendary (+1 to number of companions and Wolf to Werewolf). I used a thorn build. Just 2 shotted the butcher with my werewolves! Ashava was a breeze! We were 12 peoples, about half were level 10-15. Me and a dual hydra sorc downed her in about 2 minutes! Yes the beginning was rough and will probably be rougher on release since the drop rate of legendaries will be set to normal. I will still play Druid! Your experience may vary tough.

I played Diablo 1 and 2 obsessively back in the day, but not much of Diablo 3 (irl got in the way) I absolutely loved the gameplay, story, cinematics, graphics, everything really, all weekend. But then again, I played sorcerer. I suspect his opinions here were heavily skewed by his bad experience with the classes that need the most work before launch. I’m sad to see him so jaded, but his experience is what it is.

The presentation is high-quality but it plays very safe, which makes it sort of uninspiring and bland. D1 and D2 when they came out where not "safe", they took a lot of chances and they counted on the players to figure things out. D4 is probably too streamlined and hand-holdy for my tastes.

Tbh everything seems fine, but the endgame loop could be terrible. I don't know much about it, but if it's just running harder versions of the dungeons, then that will suck. Nobody wants to grab cubes, bloodstones, and anima 50 times a day

I hope it is possible to ramp up the difficulty from start to end because it felt way to easy. I played sorceress without looking at min/max and best dps builds. Still I had no challange at all. Started with rogue now and it is even easier with close combat build. Feels like a walking simulator for me.

I'm guilty. I play for the stories and atmosphere. #1) My absolute biggest issue with this game is its forced online shared world. You can't play the story , by yourself , without a damn constant internet connection. 2) is the repeated dungeon mechanics. 3) repeated bosses. 4) enemy scaling with your level. They say "piracy" is the reason for the forced online connection...welp; there's already a cracked version out there. And guess what it doesn't have? A forced online connection, doesn't have a shared open world. And conversely; no lag, no rubber banding etc... Why again is this forced? And why again can't they at least offer this offline mode as a option?! Its dumb.

Your question "Where are the money" , that is easy - it was given as divident to shareholders. This is the problem with publicly traded companies , they have shareholders that expect a lot of income or they will pull out. Thefore large portion of the profit goes to them instead if been available to re-invest. About D4 , I can say this. Its better then D3. Its a technically a D3 re-skin with the removal of some of the most anoying bits. D3 was a medioker game that looked like those chinese PRGs kids fell for to see bilions worth of damage and just spaming with no real difficulty and power grind. Ironically D3 at launch looked way closer to D2 then now. The game was so dumbed down . Is D4 a worthy successor to D2 - hell no. D2 is one of those rare games that took the original game and made it better in every way. It was made back in the time when companies compeated with quality , not quantity of games and servivices. Back when they could no sell you a battle pass and DLCs 6 months before the game is even out... Unfortunatly we are not going to have an other era of games on that level and today's kids think that the trash they are playing is the standard. This is why companies get away with it. We are not the target audiance, we are 30+ years old now . We have families , carriers to worry about , gaming is just a hobby for us (left on the background). They target is the new gen of 16-25 year old , that just dont care and dont want to grind. They want everything to be presented to them. This is the reality. That is why companies make the big cashe by selling boosters. This is why we got D2 Remaster prior to D4 , so all of us vetran players can be shuved there and dont complain about the BS they are going to pull with D4.

I also gave the beta a try. And was utterly underwhelmed by it. The gameplay, animations and visual design is so laughably bad for blizzards budget. End game being those dungeons is super boring. Skill tree is shallow and very boring. Balance is bad but that's to be expected in a beta. The only thing I would consider playing it for is the story. I actually felt like playing a diablo knockoff on mobile with the very dark dungeons and world and the super basic combat animations. on top of all of that you are forced to play always online and with blizzards track record it will get battle , season passes and probably p2w after reviews are in. After a few hours in the beta I went right back to Grim Dawn and had an unbelievably better time.

I, on the other hand, was bored. For me "boring" was the keyword of the experience. Never on my playthrough did I feel immersed and really anticipating what is next. I was just like ok, go here, then do this, then go back there.. ok. The graphics and the combat felt amazing to me (Rogue, who ever plays Druid lol), but overall for a 3rd world country where I live $80-100 is a big investment. My favorite games Skyrim and The Witcher 3 cost $50 full editions and when I start playing them I don't stop for 10 hours straight. So.. dunno

I feel the engagement issue is inherent to most ARPGs due to the core combat. You can literally rinse and repeat the same few abilities in the same order ad nauseum without even having to look at the screen, often times... I'd over to see an ARPG be developed with a focus on high skillcap combat and enemies you have to pay attention to and react to. Probably with much less enemy density... killing 4868585 trash mobs with the click of a button gets boring fast, imo.

When you really think about it, western games have never really been good at melee combat. Look at action RPGs like Dark Souls, you'll see it use a lot of concepts used in 3d fighting games. Stuff like movement, baiting, whiff punishing, flanking. Then you look at top down aRPGs like PoE or Diablo and it's mostly just aim and click. Range is completely out of control. Attack and movement speed also out of control. Attack animation recovery time isn't even a damn concept and boring MMO-like skill cooldowns take their place. Western top down aRPG pretty much rely on lightshows and obstacle courses as boss battles instead of actual action combat mechanics.

A counterpoint - I play ARPGs exactly for the relatively mindless slaughter. It's relaxing, and fun enough if punctuated with some "wake up" bosses. If I want to play a high-skill game, I'll boot one of those. You're skill tree basically doesn't matter because a lot of skills suck of you don't get the CORRECT LEGENDARY! I will play this because I always play the Diablo games but I think POE 2 when it’s released will be the top ARPG. I will say though the story so far in Diablo 4 might be the best out of all the Diablo games. The cutscenes and darkness of the story is really good. I don’t think this is a case of laziness or complacency. I truly believe they tried here and just failed in some ways. But that doesn’t make the game a failure. They still have to sell people on not just the game, but battle passes too. For that, they’re gonna have to put in more than minimal effort. And that’s part of what the beta is for. Druid was truly awful to play for me. I played it the whole open beta with hopes that gear would make it better. Didn’t really. But barb’s weapon mechanics give me hope for them. Hopefully Druid’s class mechanic helps but they HAD to know Druid was not gonna be any fun for a lot of people during this beta. It’s clunky and underpowered. The best feeling I had for it was a werewolf pulverize build. But bosses were tough and no passive spirit regen was pretttty annoying. 2 shreds and my spirit was gone. I’d like to see more synergy between the ability types. It’s like the specializations were all created in a vacuum separate from one another.

@@locky7009 my werewolf build was cool, I played coop most of my time on the game. I didn’t realize how weak and clunky it felt until I tried solo clearing dungeons. Still cleared them, but it was rough. Had to change my build more than I did for any other class because nothing felt right. I think that with the freedom the talent tree gives us, more of it should feel viable. It’s weird to me that hurricane is a wind spell that doesn’t synergize with the other wind spells. They are all meant to be ranged. Cyclone armor pushes people away. But hurricane requires you to be close. Some weird decisions.

Not sure how you come to the conclusion that the combat feels mediocre. The majority of players and even streamers disagree with you on that one. Even though the barb is a bit underpowered at max level 25 (not even max level and end game content mind you) it still felt incredibly satisfying to play in terms of combat instructiveness. I'm not sure how anyone are coming to these ridiculous conclusions when we haven't even seen endgame yet. Last Epoch's combat feels "Ok" compared to D4. Poe is not a f2p game if you really wanna get into it. They offer a limited amount of stash tabs which get full really fast. So considering you want to buy some tabs for your stash, be ready to spend some cash. Even on sales. 70$ might be expensive for D4, but dont get fooled by the F2P aspect of poe.

Overly dramatical imo. They said we‘re on an older version of the game. All we had access to in beta is repetitive due to us running same things over. Classes like barb etc will scale harder the later you are in the game. There‘s a lot of ways to improve and add things to the game. Looking at leaks the level 100 experience isn't that much better. You spam dungeons to craft a nightmare sigil to do a slightly difficult dungeon with occasional helltide events (world quest/event) in the open world. If anything, the game will shine in season 1 if they make drastic changes but that's all copium at this point 😅. Right now it just feels like a game where you do the campaign and stop playing

People that feel attacked personally when you bash diablo 4 are the ones that are still playing d3. Diablo 3 and now 4 is a game that is designed to be a one time deal cash cow. Early game is so bad that end game cant be good since most of people will quit before true end game. And so far we saw nothing that would indicate that end game is any different than from d3. Diablo 3 was so bad i have really no words to describe how simple and repetitive that game was. D4 looks even worse. So judging by what we saw if end game was 10x more fun it would still be boring and pointless.

I also refunded my preorder after playing the barb. I had fun with the necromancer though and it was a unbelievably huge difference. But still, even the necromancer didn't convince me to buy the game. So sad, because I'm a huge fan since day one.

@@sirrubbers5797 I'm certain it will, yeah. But am I willing to have a hard time, feeling weaker the moment I level up for like 10 hours, before reaching endgame? I feel no. At least not when there are classes that ARE fun while leveling. And I'm the polar-opposite of a casual player and have many thousand hours into Diablo 2 and 3 and many other ARPGs like POE. I guarantee that casual players (which the game is mostly made for as of now) are just going to give up after a couple hours and will never even reach endgame.

My lvl 25 Barb with all legendary gear (which enhanced my skills) ended up being my best character and I reached lvl 25 with 3 characters. Quit Druid at lvl 14 cuz it is flat out awful.

@@Dandoskyballer You said it: All legendary gear. You won't have that in the full release because they upped the drop rate of legendaries for the beta by a factor of 3. Also, a class that only feels strong while having full legendary gear while leveling has no place in an ARPG. And keep that in mind: As soon as you level up a few times, your legendary gear is worthless. For the leveling portions of an ARPG, EVERY class has to be viable and fun.
