I had the chance to see and listen to him with Oscar Peterson and Martin Drew several times in Paris. I continue to play their records more than often. Still alive

I've only been introduced to NHOP and Ray Brown recently, been playing bass since 1968. Left the music scene in 1976 for a real job. Everyone thought they were the next Lynyard Skynard or Rod Stewart. Have always wondered though. NHOP is beyond AMAZING!
