Its a bit easier with 2B or A2, just jump, dash, jump, do the pod kick (pod fire+dash), then spam 4 attacks with a small sword, that gets u there pretty everytime.

For those who don’t know still where the grief fists are, there is a waterfall you see robots training if you have the dlc it’s where the arena where you play as a machine is located. Follow that waterfall down towards the cliff side turn the camera right you’ll see a gap between a pile of rocks a thin tree, go though the gap and follow the path until you see dead Android do some jump stuff and you’re there

The part where it shows the location for Virtuous Grief is just plain unhelpful if you don't show how someone can get up onto the plateau. I had to look up a different video to even know that you gotta go all around the forest to even get on the route to the weapon.

A little tip for the Machine Heads. When I loaded Chapter 15-01, Pascal wasn't in the village. Load chapter 14-05 and play that short part again and then head to Pascal's Village. Maybe someone has the same problem.

Ooook... I know what you mean, It took my time to realize it. That's the sub-chapter, You can't choose it. The order is "Chapter>Sub-Chapters>Sub-Sub-Chapters (i don't even know hot to refer to this ones)" If you want to replay something, you have to go by the Sub-Sub-Charapters, and select which one do you want to replay. So, if you want to choose something in that part, maybe from the begining of it, you should choose08_01-1. I hope I make myself clear.

Emil's head (weapon) is obtained only after u beating him. Talk to him near the desert entrance. Then go to where (after the Goliath destroyed the area) drainage close to the sewage entrance where a tree connects overpass bridge in the City area. Take the elevator in drainage outlet off the edge of a clift to where Emil's place is, take the mask, then go to the surface to talk to him again. After that, go down to his place with 9S to unlock his chest with another mask. Leave his place, fight him, when victorious, you can retrieve the weapon.

Beastcurse can only be gotten on a 9s playthrough need to hack the chest. Type-40 Lance can be gotten on your first playthrough as 2B.

Another trick to reach the isolated building for the Type 3 Lance is to hijack this flying worm-like thing. Once you do, you'll want to hold the R2 button and then hold the X (Jump Button) to keep it in air. This is the easiest I found.

Hey everyone! To get the Cruel Lament Weapon from Miramasa you need to have 1 weapon leveled up to lvl 4 for him to give it to you. I leveled up 2B's small sword Virtuous Contract with him and then after getting it to level 4 he gave me Cruel Lament.

There is another weapon this video has completely missed - go back to the factory area from the introduction (where you fought the giant robot when the game started) and there will be 2B's previous weapon, Virtuous Treaty stabbed in the ground in the area where the machine spawned. (Its story is really creepy idk y)

Make sure the first encounter is where you land the first time (on the roof of the building). The second should be on top of the Goliath (Engels). When you kill them during the second time, their 'leader' should come for them (wielding the lance). Kill this unit and you get the lance. I had the same problem, I've reloaded that chapter time and time again. If it seems stuck and you don't encounter them, you could try to play a little bit further into the storyline and hope the quest recovers itself... Not much of help here but that was my own experience, after some time it actually worked! But still, really glitchy quest. Hope this helps!

DrawingStone when i had the yorha betrayers quest i killed them on the roof first, then i had to finish the forest kingdom quest, then i killed them by the factory and it said i completed the quest without even fighting them on too if the goliath. In between this process i was in the middle of doing examine machine part 1, and i did NOT fix the goliath head yet, i just went straight to resistance hq after beating the jackass drug quest

You probably did the first quest. Once you do that, fast travel to the resistance camp and walk outside. 21O will then send you a mail and the second quest will trigger. Finish that and the 4O sword is yours
