Manuel Nieto SL of Spain Chaman Bushcraft knife. Made from Sandvik 14C28N knife specific stainless steel and Curly Birch scales, this handsome knife is well appointed with a superb fit and finish, further complimented by a well sewn functional leather scabbard. This latter item can be carried either with a dangler, traditional belt carry or even via Molle straps! The Chaman Bushcraft looks right at home in the wilds around the camp and not only looks good but performs very well too. My other 14C28N knives are great too. The Chaman Bushcraft is a full flat grind drop point knife and sits well in the hand for some powerful strokes, as the handle is narrow and able to be gripped very well despite it's smooth profile. The Curly Birch scales are fitted via stainless steel bolts. For me, the Chaman Bushcraft would make a very nice little camping and hiking knife. It was well capable of splitting some very hard hazel, could carve well, easily strike a fire steel with the butt end of the knife, prepare food around camp and has as I stated above, a versatile carry system.
Totally recommend the Chaman Bushcraft if your in the market for a good quality camping knife.
There is also a Chaman Bushcraft with micarta scales functions as a fire bow drill top block. The tang is skeletonized/milled for a well balanced knife.
