Citizens showed faith and trust in Nigel Farage and Reform UK by electing five members to Parliament in a short span. Ben losing his place in Reform is the most disappointing thing they've done and a major miss-step in my view. Zia Yusuf is an excellent choice for Chairman but they should have found a high profile role for Ben as he was an asset to the party. I don't know what went on behind the scenes, perhaps it had something to do with only coming third in his constituency in the by-election and general election (his constituents must be fools). There was also the false narrative spread after his interview on TalkTV where he was accused of saying he was happy for illegal immigrants to drown as a result of turning the boats around. What he actually said was we should do everything within reason to turn the boats around safely, but if the illegals are determined to thwart the process and drown as a result of their own actions so be it, as we can't be blackmailed into giving in. I 100% agreed with him! Anyway I hope there's not bad blood between Ben and Reform now as it would be a loss for both of them if they start undermining each other and it would only help the opposition.
