I would be horrified if he was giving away the Isle of Wight, but if you look at a map you will see (... you might need a magnifying glass here) that the Chagos Islands are stuck in the middle of the Indian Ocean. The only reason we "own" them is because we stole them from somebody else. Also, don't forget that we are now living in the 21st century, NOT the 19th.
