I recognised the tune immediately after the build-up. Great playing from Nigel and also marvellous playing from the violin girl who does not even get named. I know it's 17 years ago but thanks for the great solo whoever you were.

Very nice memory we played Jimi Hendrix's pieces for the first time with Nigel and Berlin Philharmonics, there was also Jarek Śmietana - beautiful people, beautiful time :)))

After listening to him playing it live, I have to say....and the point is? not a pleasant experience, a lot walked out. i stuck it out to be polite, but honestly Hendix did better. That was then, Nigel should be looking forward if as he says he wants to progress the violin. It just mashes your ears up on a violin.

Come on friend he's a joker can't you see. Actually I enjoyed it but each to this own. Life is absurb but it's an incredible adventure. Thats what I think Nigel is saying too. And what an incredible musician.That said I whereas I would listen to this only a couple of times I would listen to his Elgar's Violin a concerto hundreds of times. But variety is the spice of life is it not?
