With all due respect to you and your legacy on KZbin this is by far the best video you’ve ever made. Not because of the location but in how you presented it and talked. As a fellow professional photographer I appreciated the experience of coming with you on this trip and how your focus was on the place and not the process. I do fully appreciate your strategy with KZbin but for me this vlog is one of the best I’ve ever seen and I applaud you for making it the way you have. This is what I hoped for from this trip. Kudos to you Nigel. Wonderful. In the spirit of positivity and respect this is probably the best vlog I’ve ever seen on Landscape Photography and not because of lava but because of you and your approach to this place and subject. Kudos my friend.

I'm just so, so envious. There are some places and events that you need to be there to fully appreciate, and I think being close to a live volcano must be at the top of the list. You can get a vicarious enjoyment of a football match or the Olympics, or whatever, by watching it on TV but I think the sheer awesomeness of nature at its most spectacular is hard to beat. So I truly envy you the opportunity to have the experience first-hand - and to share it with the rest of us. And it's one of those videos that can't be done justice to on a phone or a lap-top. I watched it on my HD TV, which made it look even more spectaular.

Absolutely brilliant, have been following this volcano for a few months now. It’s been our go to as there is nothing on our local tv here in Australia 🇦🇺. Gets us away from thinking of our sad world at the moment. This would have to be the best drone footage and photos I’ve seen. Thank you. 🇦🇺🦘

We have all the time for reviewing, back again into our favourite location, studying the weather or sun pattern, and try again in the next season for the best result, but not this one. This one is preserving "moment" that not everybody could achieved. With a longtime skill Nigel has learned, the result is astounding. Great work, Nigel.

I agree with everything James Bell has said. This is an outstanding video Nigel and I am sure you are so rightly proud of it. I found it totally engrossing and could have watched something that was twice this length with ease. It was so nice to be allowed to be part of your experience and to see, as you walked through that landscape, how much it meant to you. 1. No I don't hate you Nigel but boy am I soooooooooo envious of you! 2. Interested to know if you had to be part of a guided group exploring around the volcano or can anyone walk in there? 3. I don't have a drone but would be really interested in a video on it and including which are the essential features? I'd like to get a drone in the future but won't be able to afford the best DJI so advice on buying & operation from Landscape photographers perspective would be very interesting to me 4. Any chance you could please put those photos on your Flickr account too so people like me who don't do Instagram can see them too? 5. I'd definitely agree it will be almost impossible to get better than that......but never underestimate Mother Nature!! Epic video Nigel.

This volcano is like a living organism and is constantly changing. I remember seeing it for the first time a few hours after the eruption began. It was possible to approach it at a distance of 2-3 meters, it was an unforgettable experience that I will remember forever. I've been there several times and it impresses me every time. I am happy to live in Iceland and I can enjoy communing with nature and admire what she has created. Thanks for a great video.

I agree with a lot of comments on the greatness of this video. Envy is there as well. I had a volcanoe experience in ‘18 in Guatemala, we were on Pacaya (roasted marshmellos over steam ) when Fuego blew. I appreciate the drone aspects as it gives a closer to being there experience and an overall view of location.

The power of nature, WOW. Will be in Iceland 3 weeks today and although I have been following the Volcanoes activity for the last 6 weeks or so it was not on our agenda to visit it due to time constraints (trying to do a lap in 4 days) Your enthusiasm at this location speaks volumes and the images are incredible, the drone shots are amazing but I particularly love the zig-zag of lava breaking through the crust.
