I think I was in my ninth or tenth standard when this episode aired on Travel and Living channel now TLC. Obviously they brought the rights to broadcast this. And I loved the recipe so much, I made a note of everything she used and how she cooked, in the hopes that I'll cook it when I'll get fresh figs and mascarpone and an oven such as this to bake! In my country, the only cheese we knew a decade or so ago, was processed cheese and figs such as this were unimaginable. We only ever saw tiny, green wild figs which could be cooked or stewed. NVM the orange blossom water. So almost after 13 years, when I finally know how each ingredient tastes and getting an oven like this, I searched for this episode once I'd made the dessert and was very satisfied with the results. Growing up Nigella was my role model.

liopleurodonut I know right? I live in Southern California and I see dried figs everywhere but never fresh. Maybe they have them in Palm Springs? Good excuse for a trip to the desert. And where the heck do you get Rosewater?

@@szqsk8 You can order Rose Water online through Amazon. Also, Whole Foods Markets sells fresh figs in the summertime through the early fall, and Trader Joe's does too.
