This car is a Chinese Chery Tiggo 5x, at least that's the model on sale in Brazil. Nigeria is trailing the right path though: first emulate a good product around and then Nord will have the expertise to design, engineer and assemble its own cars.

It would be great to see more of these on the streets starting with public use. Kinda like Uber + Toyota prius back in the day, and Mercedes Taxis in Stuttgart. Imagine if it were Gov backed. All Gov staff have a scheme to access these at various levels...

Front wheel drive, CVT, 114hp. It's definitely an economy car. Probably reliable, would be cheap to maintain. Though I'm a little skeptical of CVTs

Mat Watson is a popular British car reviewer and he does in-depth reviews (plus some mad fun stuff like drag races!); e.g., he often tests SUVs from different manufacturers. I'd love to see this Nord 45 against, say a Kia Sportage, or a Hyundai Tucson. Perhaps it would be a better comparison with brands like Peugeot, Renault or Nissan. What do you think?

I think both Nord and IVM are not doing enough on marketing strategy ;especially IVM they are not even given chance to Nigerian car reviewers to do a review of their vehicle that's not good....if Nord or IVM starts can give their car to OLa Of Lagos or CARWOW to review it will really boost their sales,..Nord is trying though@@Gandalf606
