How many goats do you recommend starting off with? Thanks... also how long would you say it took you to learn the process when starting

I would start with 2-3 and get used to raising them. We started with 2 and that worked well for us. :-) I think it's an ongoing learning process honestly - there are multiple things to learn and always something new with raising animals. The basics took us a short time, maybe a few months to really learn, but overall we still have more to learn always and all these farm animals keep us on our toes, lol.
