Nigerian food is becoming almost mainstream in the US. I go to the Nigerian food truck on 45th and 2nd in NYC once a month. So good. I'm Asian too.

@@Margeryhudsonpeters Yeah, also lots of Asians have Nigerian friends in NYC because they typically go to the ivy league schools, work in banking, tech and finance where there are a lot of Asians too so we are exposed to their food and culture a lot. That's how I got into the food, my friend from Columbia is from Nigeria.

There are different methods of cooking egusi, and the person cooking it also matters plus some person's add or skip some ingredients due to their preference so it okay if it taste a little different from the one you had before

Once again, una well done for helping showcase our delicious cuisine. It is something that more people from around the world should give a chance to embrace. To African restaurant owners in foreign countries, please continue to do your best in promoting our food and culture the best you can. Remember, it mostly all about packaging and presentations. When done rightly, you will surely change minds to embracing your products and services any others out there...e.i Japanese, Italian, Thai, Korean, Chinese, French, Mexican. Just to name a few. Cuisines from these places are no better than ours. They are just different, packaged and presented to the world in very attractive ways. Cheers!
