I am a Nigerian, I have had a close Ghanaian family for many years till now. Both parents in the Ghanaian family died within a space of 8 months when the kids were still young. 3 of the children are married to Nigerians, and in all cases, I was part of the family of the Ghanaian bride or groom. In one of the marriages, I represented the father of the groom at the instance of the aunties that came from Ghana. There's no big deal in this.
