Great job. The sides burnt because the rack placed on top did not fully reach the ends of the pot. What worked for me is bake for 15-20mins and flip the meat pie to bake on the other side so it bakes as well. You know oven heats all round as opposed to pot. Great Job as always

Well done Aunt Flo. I've actually tried baking meat pie using this method but I placed them in a cake pan and they came out perfect with no burn. I feel it could be the foil that let them burn. Or what do you think?
@FloChinyere2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking it's the baking sheet because they were burnt at that side too. The foil did not show any signs of burning. But yes, anything may have caused both the baking sheet and pie to burn. Not completely sure what happened there because one of the pies looked so clean.

@FloChinyere2 жыл бұрын
You like it crunchy? hahaha I do not understand why they would want to put meat pie dough in the fridge. I want the proofing to happen faster and placing dough in the fridge slows down proofing. So I would rather leave it at room temperature than place it in the fridge.
