It's good to see you back. I'm not cognizant if there are materials that can printed on and are stretchable. If there are it might solve the problem of sizeing the continents over a globe surface.

Your work with relief carving is quite inspiring! To start out with a seemingly useless piece of cracked wood and creating what you do out of it…. Wow! And then you went through the wall!!! You don’t let anything stop you!! I can very highly recommend Trent Bosch’s hollowing system - the visualizer and stabilizer. I don’t think you would go through another wall. Thanks for your creation/work with OUR!!!

Stunning… a master in your creative pieces… I wonder if any of those saved realize this type of creativity and other types of creativity helped to save lives??? May you continue your soulful journey to help save those in need… Sadly, it seems real life Monsters exist… Maybe one of those saved has the creative mind to construct a super hero comic book to draw attention to your own and other artists effort to save people from a world of Bad Humans?

You can use a sawzall with no blade and press the nose on the side of your “rice mold”container after you pour to vibrate the resin/bubbles around…works good!!

Could you put your piece on top of the dryer or something to vibrate it while the resin sets? Or strap it to the lathe? Just thinking about the vibration that is already going on 😂

all the different shades of blue are incredible, it reminds me of a blue marble. the darker wood is really cool too. have you tried doing a lacquer finish on these wood/resin pieces? that way each surface has the same level of sheen to it. i dig the two tone effect myself but i saw someone use lacquer and then polished it with an abrasive paste and that made everything uniform. just thought i’d mention that in case that’s ever a look you’re going for. looking forward to what you do next!

That is very amazing to me. Nicely done sir. You do some incredible work for the charity. The thought you had about making a night version . With all the lights. I was wondering would fiber optic cable. Say drilled and glued in after the rounding process. But before you hollow it. Give you the effect your looking for? But would it still be safe to hollow and sand?

Wife is MAD! Whenever I have the TV on, I have your channel on. I spend hours watching you create these beautiful pieces of work, and what a wonderful charity! Thank you so much for sharing. PS: It looks like you are using Tung oil as a finish, am I correct? Is that all you use for a finish?? it seems like it would leave an oily residue on the resin. Thanks again, and keep up the great work!!

Dan you more than likely get a lot of good ideas to the absurd. I have an idea that if you were interested I would donate the majority of the items to be used in the epoxy. I didn’t want to post it here but if you’re interested or just curious let me know……I don’t know the rules of adding my personal items with email. Take care, Jim
