I've heard that Brian May once praised Johan Boding's exceptional voice and ability (even his timbre resembles Freddie's voice, doesn't it?) I wonder why this guy was not recruited to join Queen and tour the gigs together with Brian & Roger

Johan has a soft voice. Mercury had a deep voice and could make it tough and soft when it is needed.
