@@kcred5689 yeah but showering at night, as previously stated, can wash away all of the dirt and grease you collected THROUGHOUT the day (or morning.) Showering in the day (or morning) though does the same things, washing away dirt and such. You'll collect more through the rest of the day and have to go to sleep in it. I personally believe that can make your body and your bed more dirty due to people giving that "gunk" the chance to collect inside of your pours and can make you and the bed you sleep in more filthy as well. Thus, showering in the morning has no real purpose if you're going to be practically laying in your own filth at the end of the day that has also previously built up over time.

I have both sides of the argument: Showering in the morning is good because it wakes you up and cleans off any sweat and dirt you gathered at night. Showering at night is good too because it gives you a nice feeling knowing that you are going to bed clean and it also washes away the dirt and sweat you have gathered during the day. Conclusion: Both would be even better but I personally take showers at night to wash away sweat. :)

Used to have the same mindset as you do, but actually, showering every single day strips your hair and your body of its natural oils, therefore causing your body to produce more oils because it is stripped of those oils so often, you can wean yourself off of showering everyday and slowly reduce the amount of oils your body produces, kinda like training your motabolism

Not really, because If you are up all night or sleep in a dirty place/ sweat at night, all that nasty stuff is on you, and why not just get all the dirt of you at once? I tend to stay up late, so morning showers are a must for me. Plus, it energizes me so I'm not a zombie. But if you aren't up all night and sleep in a clean place and/or don't sweat at night, it's fine to take a nighttime shower. But for people like me, showering in the morning is a must. Good day:)

I used to take showers in the morning in the summer. Then I put bug spray on during the day. My aunt told me to take a shower but I tried to argue that I took one in the morning. She said it didn’t matter, I still had to wash off everything I put on that day. Never did morning showers again. Just saying 🤷‍♀️

Exactly this. In the summer, you collect all that sweat, sand, whatever is in the pool or lake when you go swimming, bug spray, sunscreen...it all needs to be washed away before bed!!

I range between the two. If I’m really tired or dirty or something in the morning I’ll take a shower, but if I’ve had a long, exhausting day and I feel gross I’ll take a night shower. Sometimes I even take baths!🤷‍♀️ I don’t think it really matters how you bathe yourself lol

I shower at night because I'm still in high school and therefore have to walk to the bus stop in freezing cold weather, and since I'm too lazy to blow dry my hair if I took a shower beforehand I would risk hypothermia due to having wet hair.

Louiethebrownie B Yep, she also didn't wear clean clothes (including undies yuck!) and she didn't brush her teeth often either. She was afraid she would strip her teeth's "natural minerals". She didn't even use new feminine hygiene products. She would use the same nasty pad for like 2 days. She told us all this and when the girls were changing for P.E you could smell her and see the stains in her underwear.
