If you've ever stood on the North Norfolk coast at night & looked out at the dark water wondering what's under there - now you can see!
While initially a little unnerving being in such dark water, the sights & sounds of the nighttime activities under the surface are so consuming that you soon forget any fears and just enjoy the experience.
The fish aren't bothered by the light & since they can't see our outline they are far less wary of our presence than they would be during the day. We found lots of bass, red mullet, eel and invertebrates.
We swam out from the beach at Sheringham & snorkelled out to the start of the North Norfolk chalk reef just a short way offshore.
