Deep fried fish heads are also a tasty treat. I think the usual revulsion is more of a psychosomatic reaction to the consumption of fish heads. Same with chicken feet and pork hocks. Great to see Erik and Arielle dispelling the myth of ‘yuck’. We can always rely on this channel for authentic content. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇦🇺

I have always appreciated how open you guys are towards new recipes. Growing up, I grew up eating salmon head soup, and still do till this day. You guys nailed it. The meat in the collar and heads cooked in a soup becomes soft and delicate. Super packed with flavor. if you can get passed the cartilage and bones, you'll get to the tender and delicious meat that you'd otherwise lose! What a great adventure. cheers to the both of you! As kids we used to fight over who got the eyeball!

Fish soup is delicious. I grew up as a young child visiting my grandparents in Florida. We would go deep sea fishing for Grouper. Grandma would take the fish heads and boil them on the outdoor stove and make a wonderful fish soup. We would take the eyeballs and dry them out in the sun and then use them like chalk on the streets or sidewalks to make pictures. The soup was simple and grandma would add celery, carrots, potatoes, salt and pepper which we would eat with a side of hard cheese and a hard cracker. Memories.
