Correction, murder is when you kill someone who did not pose a threat to your life and that you do not lying awake or seek out to kill out of hatred or guile. ... hence therefore if nightcrawler would have killed a circus leader it would have been self-defense because the circle leader along with his party started the fight with the intent of killing nightcrawler. That would be considered self-defense not murder, biblically speaking.

Nightcrawler is my favorite character of all times. His kindness and his open mind is what helped Wolverine keep his cool (opposites). Azazel and Mystique want their son to help them, through their selfish interests. He found friends and family in the church and the Xavier School. Kurt is almost OP. When fight discussions happen they always stipulate no speed blitz and no BFR. Kurt's power is pretty much BFR. He touches, casually strands you in another dimension and then pops back in

Cyclops could easily wipe out 100 men in front of him but mane can't hurt some machine like nimrod. Kurt could just teleport nimrod to that hell world place.

Azazel derives from 1/3 of the Angels (demons) kicked out of heaven when Satan rebel against God. Azazel was said o be the highest of them outside of lucifer... Book of Enoch describes some of these demons by name and the knowledge they offered to mankind like the art of forging metals, astrology, vanity etcetera.

In X-Men:TAS, the "Bloodlines" episode, Nightcrawler was finally able to confront Mistique about her being his mother. She told him that his father was the Austrian count she had married. She said he wasn't handsome, but his money made up for that. Everything was going her way, until she gave birth to Nightcrawler. She was forced to leave, and she sent the baby down the river. Azazel was never mentioned in the series at all (to my knowledge, at least). So much for "the truth"...

Nightcrawler is one of the greatest X-men of all time. He's never been the strongest but he's an important member of the team. He's helped stop the summoning of his own father at one point. He's also sacrificed himself to save Hope Summers by teleporting to them to Utopia to escape Bastion. He also has such an interesting relationship with Mystique must be rough trying to be parent and on opposing sides. His accent coupled with his peaceful fun loving nature and strong faith make him a loveable character.

Hmmm...the updated origin makes Mystique seem less self-serving (as she didn't throw him off a bridge ) & leaving Azazel out completely (Azazel was the one who saved NC by teleporting him a he was falling to his death & gave him to Margoli). The whole thing about Mystique passing out from exhaustion & him floating down the river doesn't make much sense. Also Benny neglected to mention NC has the ability to cling to/climb various surfaces by causing his hands/feet to adhere to them. And NC can blend into shadows, becoming invisible. Mentioning his swordsmanship would've been cool too (NC should always have swords).

A bit different from what I read in wiki. There he was very happy being in the circus where he was an acrobat as he was naturally agile due to his mutant form. He had his 2 friends Stefan and jimaine The circus was later brought by a Texas millionaire who then displayed his as a freak of nature.
