Eric, very nicely done video, you explain things in a logical, easy to understand manner. It's been about 6 months since this video, how are you liking the ZWO ASIair?

Thanks Gary! I love the ASIAir Pro. It's easy to use and it simply just works for me. I haven't had any issues capturing images or managing my mount.

@Astro with Eric That's awesome. I installed the ASIair on my Mak-Newt. It's controlling the Mount, the EAF, the main camera (ASI183MC Pro Cooled), and the guide cam (ASI290MM), it's also powering the dew heater on the telescope and the guide scope. I am not able to power my EQ6R Pro mount (not recommended). It's amazing how quickly it polar aligns and plate solves. Thanks again for the great content!

Great video! With guiding and calibration, I noticed you calibrated at the target instead of at the meridian or zenith. Is there any advantage to either or any noticeable difference?

Great tutorial .. how do you determine your gain setting , exposure time and how many exposures to shoot ?
@AstrowithEric4 жыл бұрын
I have used SharpCap Pro’s smart histogram and sensor analysis to help give me an idea of exposure times. I have a video on how I use it. Using it is primarily a guideline but it’s a good start.

@@AstrowithEric is there a way to use the ZwoAsiair pro and its histogram graphics to determine exposure time ?thanks
