This cinematic was down to the point and awesome. I’m surprised that they sent in Caveria to apprehend Kali instead of someone like Zero who would’ve won that fight easily, but then again it’s Caveria gear in the BP so oh well. Definitely about time though that A. We learn Nighthaven’s involvement with the Yahata incident and B. Rainbow takes over because it’s true that a private military shouldn’t start a war with essentially the world since Rainbow represents pretty much all current special forces and they shouldn’t be leading the investigation behind the Yahata incident since there gear was involved Very cool cinematic and can’t way to see the next squad though!

With R6 not having a campaign/storymode, I think Ubisoft is realizing creating these CGI's teasers with lots attention from viewers. Will be impactful if they're thinking creating a NEW game with the concept of this particular story lines they've been presenting, as a single player mode only. I think the reason Rainbow stopped Nighthaven is because the method of Kali’s plan to stop the people using her gear is very dangerous. She’s going on a world-wide hunt against the group using her gear, which could result in a ton of unwanted casualties or property damage. I don’t believe either side is bad. Both organizations want to stop this third party from stealing more gear and committing more crimes. But NH is too much of a wild card to be trusted in terms of handling the situation themselves.

I've been trying to find the original leak vid (one of the Brutal Swarm leak vids had the whole script of this scene so it's likely a cinematic), but take this with a grain of salt, the leaks might be wrong.

We give u info if u give us info, or we make this public n give u headache. Kali, being egoistically protective of her brand's rep, would most likey have agreed to the deal on the spot, though she'll also be thinking abt how to hit back in the future

This cinematic was such an anticlimactic and rushed way to put an end to the "Rainbow/ Night Haven" feud. The Siege writers have tried so hard now to subvert people's expectations of Night Haven to paint them in a sympathetic and misunderstood light all while doing nothing to make them deserving of such. Night Haven from the start has done nothing but cause trouble for Team Rainbow from the start and it's far too late now to try and turn things around for them as most people already loathe their existence. Now that this "grand plot twist" has been revealed, I have to ask, what is the purpose of Night Haven anymore? What has this cinematic done besides completely burying them as an organization? This cinematic showed just how incompetent of an organization and leader that Kali is and proved just how easily Team Rainbow could wipe them out despite the marketing trying so darn hard to make them look like they could ever pose a threat. It's very clear by now that there seems to be some clashing visions between the Siege writers of how the direction of the lore should move forward. There is absolutely no proper build up or flow between any of these events happening and the character's motivations and actions conflict with each other constantly. Night Haven is too sloppily written and mishandled to ever be considered a compelling organization. I hope that from this point on that they are put on the back burner so that team Rainbow can remain the focus. Nobody is going to be taking Night Haven seriously after this.

I wouldn't have such an issue with Nighthaven if they were written more consistently, were not given an artificial push (Appearing more frequently in Batlepasses, getting elites earlier than most, etc.), and didn't cause unneeded tension within Rainbow which is akin to petty highschool drama. They never belonged in Rainbow, so I'm glad they're gone and that the writers are forming groups within Rainbow which is what should have been the case from the start. The worst part is that this revelation completely defeats the point of building them up as villains and the possible need for undercover moles. If they aren't up to no good, then what's the point of spying on them from the inside? Not to mention that having ops transfer from a CTU to a PMC while still under servitude to their respective government isn't possible. You don't leave the military whenever you feel like it and doing so to join a PMC would be met with some sort of harsh repercussions. Especially for Smoke since you take an oath when you join the SAS. Rant over.

I swear all ubisoft military shooter games have essentially the same lore. Why can't we have 2 directly opposing forces. In the division games, the story had forces behind the scenes. Now siege does. Just make it straight forward and focus on the damn characters themselves.
