Marcus was my favorite companion from Fallout 2 and I'm glad they brought him back (and Michael Dorn, the voice actor) in New Vegas. Mutants are not mindless brutes that just want to kill you. Although transformed, there's a lot of humanity inside those hulking bodies. Marcus is very smart and diplomatic. Lily is a doting, loving grandmother. Mean Sob is a loyal guard. In F2, there's even a super mutant couple who keeps bickering at home, like some human couples! I hope that in future Fallout games, they'd be portrayed more with sympathy and I especially would like to see super mutant NCR soldiers! That'd be awesome!

I think it would be very interesting if a cure was invented for the nightkin,do you think they would revert back to a normal super mutant and keep their intelligent,go back to a normal super mutant and lose their intelligence or create a new generation completely
@balloonsnake13063 жыл бұрын
Well if you help Doctor Henry with his research, his ending screen will state that he did in fact find a cure for the Nightkin schizophrenia. Maybe this will be looked at in the next fallout game, maybe they will have a quest that has you looking for a copy of the cure to help some Nightkin.
@kotzpenner3 жыл бұрын
Well Henry heals their schizophrenia, not them being super mutants or something like that. I believe they keep their blue skin and so on and simply just don't go crazy anymore. Of course the act of being invisible might force someone to go mad anyways.
@fallensurvivor213 жыл бұрын
I mean yeah.. but the lasting effects have to linger in one form or another even after a cure, like the skin.. but may be others we've never known about until New Vegas 2 or Fallout 5. With a real world perspective is the cure instantaneous? Doubt it. Would the cure progress in doses? What happens if they take a dose and stop cold turkey? Lots of questions. It's a very very heavy dr*g addiction after all considering the mission @ REPCONN. Nightkin who are too deep in are desperate for the next hit. I could also see some Nightkin that are healed developing a sort of zen state, maybe becoming their own faction. A safe haven for other S. Mutants and Nightkin.
@tylercoon17913 жыл бұрын
I think they would keep the blue skin, but who knows? Maybe Dr. Henry fixes that too, and that’s why we don’t have any nightkin in the recent games

@@tylercoon1791 I’m not sure entirely but I think nightkin were created in Mariposa by the Master. They were the ones with the best Intelligence who could actually use the stealth boys. I like how the Nightkin are used to explore the psychological effects that an ability to turn invisible could have on people. Davison knows if you kill the other nightkin in the facility supposedly because Antler told him. I mean Davison doesn't even see you do it and if done stealthily wouldn't hear it either but either way he not only knows that the nightkin are dead without even leaving the room but he also knows that it was you who did it.
