In my mind the door to the dungeon is one of those that gets pulled or pushed shut and is locked that way. He wouldnt need to lock it then. There are now 3 Nightmare Time episodes missing: 2.2.1: Perkys Buds, 2.3.2: Killer Track and 2.4: Yellow Jacket I would recommend that you watch the other 2 before Yellow Jackt so that you save the best for last! Looking forward to the next Nightmare Time!

This isn't before or after Black Friday, it's an alternate reality. All of Nightmare Time 2 takes place in the same reality, centered around the Honey Festival btw. There are many different realities (pretty much every story is in its own universe, so TGWDLM is not the same timeline as BF, which is different from Watcher World, or Ape Man etc) but there's one exception. The Black and White exists outside all realities. What happens in the Black and White, happens in all realities. For example, Ted always becomes the homeless man, and we're suspecting Jane always dies in a car crash. We're also suspecting that McNamara's husband was Wilbur Cross aka Uncle Wiley (my... he's a wily one!) who went into the Black and White and went mad.

I thought Wilber/Wiley was just McNamara's former mentor. Was there a clue I missed suggesting they were married? Do you think "The Witch In The Web" is set in the same timeline as season 2? If I remember correctly, there is a brief mention of the Honey Festival in that one.

@@adamdavis1648 McNamara has/had a husband, theory is that it's Wilbur Cross. When they see each other in Black Friday they certainly seem to know each other. Not sure if Witch in the Web is in the same timeline as NMT2. The Honey Festival is every year, right? It might be happening in other timelines as well, especially since it's tied to Nibbly and the Church.

It's not that Ted always becomes the homeless man. He only goes back in time in one reality. This trick is that there was only one timeline up to some point that hasn't been revealed yet. When Ted went back in time in the Time Bastard timeline, he went back before the split. He became the homeless man, then the homeless man existed when the timelines split, so he's in all timelines.

This is admittedly one of my less-rewatched NMT episodes, simply because Sherman makes me so uncomfortable. We were SO BLESSED with how much Jamie this episode gave us though, she deserves so much more screentime!!! Also the Man in the Hurry lore was unexpected but very much appreciated. I am so excited for you to get to the next episode, it is my absolute favorite!!! Perky’s Buds is a riot but Killer Track is just Hatchetfield at its best!!!! It’s also a Miss Holloway centric episode so that’s an automatic win for me

I binge watched the entire of Nightmare Time for the first time last week and I’m kicking myself that I didn’t watch these when I discovered Starkid at the beginning of Covid. I absolutely love the campy horror of Daddy that it feels like a Tales from The Crypt episode

I would totally watch it if Starkid released a musical called the Jaime Lynn Beatty Multiverse of Madness LOL. side note: It's 3-ish years old but JLB starring as Winnifred Sanderson in Starkid's Hocus Pocus livestream remains epic, if anyone's curious/hasn't seen it (yes she sings I Put A Spell On You). 😂

It could be my imagination, but I feel like part of it sounds kind of similar to the song Frank and Sherman sing slightly past the twelve-and-a-half minute mark of this video (kzbin.info/www/bejne/d5PNf4Bnnap6bLs) 41:20 What card are you referring to? 45:41 If I remember correctly, Frank gets stabbed and dies in Black Friday, so this would have to be either before or in a separate universe from BF (Uncle Wiley mentioned that there's a multiverse in The Witch In The Web). I'm 99% sure it's an alternate universe. Is the next one you react to going to be "Perkey's Buds" (I think you skipped it; it's the one that's in the same video as "Abstinence Camp") or "Killer Track" (the one in the same video as "Daddy")?

Whilst Sherman is a stunted spoiled manchild he is also smart enought that he both knows that he is and is also completley okay with it. Normally that's the sort of character that you're supposed to pity and look down on but there's something almost admirable in how secure and confident his is in owning it. Still a horrible person but he knows what he wants and isn't afraid to live his truth.
