i cant have nightmares any longer. any theme at all that i dream leaves me undisturbed and calm. at one point in my life i dreamt of three demons chasing(i was so utterly afraid) but i realized i cant run away so i turned around and faced them. when i did all the fear just vanished and i actually felt utter love for them and ever since i simply cant expearience any negative emotion in dreams. i still dream challenging themes but i wake up remembering the dream and recalling that i felt warm and comfortable and cozy regardless what went on. and i must add, sleeping became my most enjoyable (non)activity. i just love it

Thanks for this video! I'm definitely going to use these tricks to change my bad dreams into good ones! Oh and by the way, I have thought of 10 good dreams to help you change the bad dreams into your favourite ones from these! 1. You're wandering around a bright forest with a couple of friends, and talk a little, and then maybe eat pizza or do something fun together. 2. You see a waterfall near you and it's beautiful, the sun is also shining and everyone is happy. 3. You are riding a unicorn on clouds and it farts rainbows and the sun is shining. 4. You're in an elevator being calm, and when you get out, you wander around. 5. Your mom gives you a wonderful gift on your birthday (it could be anything). 6. You're doing your favourite sports on a good day. 7. You get a new, shiny car as a gift from your girlfriend. 8. You hear a famous man's soothing, calm voice. 9. You're relaxed, calm, wandering around happily in a bright forest while the sun is shining meeting your favourite animals/birds/insects etc. 10. The breakfast/lunch/dinner is your favourite food. +1. You win the lottery. Hope this helped anyone!

I used to have (recurring) nightmares as a child, so in my teens I read books about dreams. How they are usually symbolic for real life and also how to take control of them. To do that what you mentioned is very important, one has to consciously remember and examine the dream. As far as I can remember I haven't had any nightmares as an adult, maybe only as the result of flu or fever. Since you're rightfully pointing out that coffee and bright screens can affect sleep, cause it raises stress levels. So can certain food stuffs, due to inflamation caused by animal foods, cortisol levels are known to rise.

Great video :). I like the way you speak clearly and your voice is very soothing. The advice in this video is great too, thank you :). I would also recommend to 1) Make sure the temperature is right in bed for you. This is because if you're too hot/cold your brain will often throw in something horrifying into your dream in order to shock you into waking up. 2) Make sure you've kept yourself hydrated during the day because again if you become too thirsty your brain will try to wake you up and dehydrated can cause you to become delirious. 3) Try not to drink too much water before you sleep because it only takes 45 minutes for water to pass through to the bladder and again your brain will try to shock you into waking up. 4) I find that doing some very gentle yoga movements help me to relax before sleep or listening to a guided meditation to help with positive imagery. :) These are just a few things that can help. Thanks again for the great video. X

oh my god. when i was a kid i used to get a lot of nightmares but there was one that i remember; a character from a game used to creep me out and i would get recurring nightmares of this character flying in through my backdoor and attacking my mum, but i remember one night i was i was sitting on the toilet too scared to go to bed because it was dark and i was scared the game character would get me so i thought about the dream, and i replayed the dream in my head but this time instead of it attacking my mum it would come in and talk to me about life and stuff that made me feel safe and from then on i never had that dream again. i was like 4-5 years old at this time and now Teal is talking about how this is a really great method of healing. how wonderful is that

I would always have nightmares as a kid. I've began the completion process and they're back again. I've had nightmares each night since. I do the completion process each morning as a daily practice. It is scary but i dont feel so resistant to the nightmares as i really should be. I see that I'm facing the conflict I've always ignored and I'm finally finding resolutions through my nightmares and through the completion process. Dreams really are a reflection of what you feel in your waking life. As my childhood traumas come up, so are my childhood nightmares. My nightmares are improving. It began with a sleep paralysis, and now, me and a childhood Teddy bear collided with each other it woke me up from the nightmare I was trapped in

its interesting... how I have acted in dreams has actually bled into my waking life. If i chose to confront my fear in dreams I gain courage and am more likely to confront my fears in waking life. It also gives me subtle hints about how certain behaviours create different scenarios... how being open, accepting and self-assured draws people in and how trying to force and control creates resistance.

Cool video. I like a lot of what you were saying about changing negative thoughts into positive thoughts while you are awake. As for me, I discovered that in reverse. LOL. I woke up inside a bad dream (I was lucid dreaming) and thought, I can change this. So I started changing things in my dream for the better. When I woke up, I thought I could do this in real life. I do this in awakened life and it works pretty good. Thanks Teal. I like your videos.

I've always had nightmares, they used to be really vivid. For example, one dream I had when I was five years of age, I had a nightmare of myself trying to escape three men and huge dogs, we were in the middle of no where... And my mom even tried asking my aunt (she talks to spirits and knows about dreams) to help me. But I was too young for people to understand what I was saying. Then it became a bit more intense, I couldn't close my eyes (when it was time for prayer). My mom tried praying for me and even people from church, but the nightmares kept on coming. My dad stopped believing me and stuff. But The dreams repeat themselves after years. I don't know why. But it'll repeat again. Now I have nightmares but when I wake up I forget what the dream was about, I'll just be left with the feeling of fear, which leads to me crying for minutes until the feeling finally leaves.

im in a bit of a pickle, i never used to be bothered by nightmares, even the ones that were very intense were enjoyable to me, now (likely caused by necessary medication) they are contributing to an already bothersome sleep problem. I wake up every 2-4 hrs, at the 4-6 hr mark I have a strong desire to eat, when I fight this it seems to make them worse. I am under newer stressors, nothing I havent encountered before, and I do lots of different meditation: ASMR, guided imagery, affirmations, though I havent done much deep muscle relaxation. So I guess for now, I'll kick the exercise in to overdrive and try more consistent deep muscle relaxation.

I had a dodgy walk and I had to build muscle mass to regain balance. People would laugh at me and I still have nightmares. I had to do a lot of things to conserve energy and work a desk job but the helpless feeling is tough.

I had an oral exam 6 days ago and though it all went well, I still have nightmares in which I'm going to my oral exam, late, unprepared and constantly reminding myself of what I am going to have to say. I wake up at 5 in the morning all panicky. I wonder, when this nightmare is going to end. I almost avoid sleeping, because it is that dreadful.

Hello and thank you for all your videos. My problems are not so much nightmares as they are reliving events of the past that I am ashamed of and memories ie.. family members and friends who have died, I am so lonely and I wake up crying.

I'm having the wildest idea: What if one applies these processes not only to nightmares, but to reality as well? Or to past memories? What if it helped to realize the vibratory, "unstable", transient nature of waking reality? Maybe it could be a super powerful way to manifest? Btw, what is the software for screen light that Teals mentions? Does anybody have a link? I tried googleing it, but I'm not sure if I even got its name right (Flux? Flocks? Flahwks? (english ain't my first language :P))
