BREAKING NIGHTWISH NEWS: Longtime Nightwish Manager and Business Partner Investigated for Multiple Assaults Including Choking Women! According to the Finnish news yesterday, Nightwish manager Ewo Pohjola is under police investigation for assaulting two women at an industry event in Finland in October 2023. The women say that he was very drunk and started chocking them around the neck and pulling their hair saying it "got him excited".

Hello I have some info on Floor Jansen for you here. She is married to Hannes Van Dahl, drummer of the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. Together they have 2 daughters (Freja & Lucy) Floor Jansen is a soprano, with a range of more than 3 octaves (C3 to F6). Re-singing style ranges from opera to screams and grunts. She usually sings in English, in addition she has also sung songs in Dutch, German, Spanish, Finnish, Latin, Italian and Swedish. Jansen was the singer of the Dutch metal band After Forever from 1997 to early 2009. From 1999 she studied at the Rockacademie in Tilburg with classmates Jacqueline Govaert and Danny Vera, where she graduated in 2003. In addition to her activities at After Forever, she cool singing lessons. She plays guitar, piano and flute. On May 5, 2010, she presented her new band ReVamp, which was disbanded in September 2016. From 1 October 2012 Jansen replaced Anette Olzon as singer of Nightwish during the Imaginaerum World Tour. On October 9, 2013, it was announced that she would be the group's regular new front singer. In 2015, Nightwish released the album Endless Forms Most Beautiful with Jansen as lead singer. "The Note" was heard, Nightwish Shadow Unit from Estonia heard the Call from our Valkyrie Goddess 🤘😎🤘. At this point Floor had been with Nightwish for 10 months. Most fans had not seen her yet with Nihgtwish. And Wacken was the biggest concert for Nightwish, they were the headliner, the last performer right after Alice Cooper. Nightwish ended the concert around midnight. This was recorded at the 2013 Wacken (pronounced Vahken) Open Air festival in Germany in front of an audience of 82,000 people (one of the largest heavy metal festivals in the world and one of the largest open-air festivals in Germany). The fiery bull head is the symbol of the festival. And the master of this magic is: Our Metal Mozart Tuomas Holopainen (founder, leader, keyboardist, songwriter and the main composer for Nightwish) Tuomas the keyboardist writes about 95% of Nightwish songs, music and lyrics. He also composes the music for the backing track they use. It is recorded in London with musicians from The London Philharmonics. Pip Williams helps with the orchestration. There are two London based choirs too on the backing track, the other one is a children's choir. And of course with a synth you can do a lot. We hope, that there is more coming. First Blue is adorable! Second believe it or not Floor wasn’t officially part of the band yet. She was still listed as a replacement singer after the previous one quit mid tour and Floor had to learn the set list and meet them in the US in 48 hours. There is a documentary about it.

The DVD is of this concert. To the best of my memory, it's only region 2 (European), though you can play it on any Windows PC with a DVD player in the US by changing DVD settings for the correct region or on region free DVD TV players.

Hello and welcome to one of the greatest prog bands of the modern era! I love that they've found another convert - indeed, every reactor who hears them seems to become instantly enamored of their unique style of hard/prog rock. I was introduced through their music video for Sleeping Sun, featuring their original singer Tarja (pronounced Tar-ee-ah). It's a haunting song which I have recently found out is a tribute to sailors and ships lost at sea (if I'm remembering correctly lol). I recommend checking that one out, most certainly. You will have been given great lists of their songs and recommended performances to watch, so have tonnes of fun enjoying them all. But carve out decent chunks of time for some of them, as they can reach to over twenty minutes(!) in a sitting lol. Indeed, it's a tribute to Tuomas (the keyboardist and writer of their material) that he can create songs of such length and yet make every note as important as the next. The man is a genius, and there's a reason the call him the "Metal Mozart" haha. Just a technical note (sorry, I hope this doesn't come across as mansplaining!): You can set KZbin's resolution higher, as I think you're probably only getting 320 by default. It will make for a much more pleasant watching experience for yourself 🙂 All the best to you, and I'm off to watch your other reactions now. Cheers!

About the "organ/pipes" it is of course decoration to hide his triple Korg keyboards. I bought the CD of this concert when i first heard them last summer on youtube , this is the 13th song of a 15 song set , stamina amazing hence the small breaks and the drummer is amazing . Well worth hearing the whole concert however the high points apart from this song are Storytime and Ever Dream in my opinion

Here’s some stuff I read about Floor. She’s a cancer survivor. She was seven months pregnant and showing during one concert and had to be hospitalized after. She first met Hannes Van Dahl backstage at a concert. He was drinking whiskey and she asked for some. Then she asked if he would share a cigar. He was thinking “A rock goddess who likes whiskey and cigars? I have to marry her.” And they did it. Got married I mean. But that was later. It’s not generally known what else they did that night. Use your imagination. 😊

As you have discovered, Floor is an Enchantress. The exploration of Nightwish is a journey that will enthrall you like no other. There is so much variety and so many nuances to their music ... and their live performances are, in my opinion, simply breathtaking. Listening to, and especially watching Nightwish, I'm usually either grinning like a maniac or wiping a tear out of my eye. No recommendations from me, you can't go wrong following Gabriel's advice, and besides, there simply isn't a bad song amongst there repertoire. Un coucou de l'armée NIGHTWISH de France, très très bonne réaction et belle analyse à l'écoute du plus grand groupe du monde pour ma part. Pour la deuxième fois vous venez de faire connaissance du métal symphonique et de notre reine Floor, mais vous n'avez qu'effleuré le dessus de l'iceberg et vous n'êtes qu'a l'entrée du terrier de lapin. Je vous souhaite de bons floorgasmes et continuez vos réactions nous serons toujours derrière vous pour vous soutenir pour notre groupe...... Encore plus d'écoutes s'il vous plait...... Merci. Continuez sur le festival du Wacken Open Air 2013, vous êtes sur de ne pas vous tromper, les quinze chansons du set sont des classiques pour tous les fans du groupe et sont à écouter absolument. Cette chanson est la 11 sur les 15 du set complet, ensuite toujours dans le même concert, faites le Ever Dream qui commence comme une douce ballade voix piano et sur un signe de Marko ( le bassiste ) continue d'accélérer pour finir comme un train à grande vitesse, ensuite je conseille une petite histoire comme Storytime un excellent rock entêtant puis essayez du plus lourd avec Ghost River pour entendre le surprenant mélange des voix de Floor avec Marko ou encore plus lourd avec Romanticide..... Et je pense que notre ami Gabriel Bardac devait arriver sous peu, ou retounez sur votre première réaction au groupe ( Un grand MERCI à Gabriel d'avoir repris le flambeau de notre regrettée Anne ) cliquez sur son nom et allez sur communauté, vous pourrez suivre sa liste en toute confiance avec les meilleurs mixages à la bonne vitesse et avec le meilleur audio mais ce n'est pas une obligation, juste un sage conseil pour entendre une petite partie du meilleur du groupe. It's worth noting here that WOA sells out a year in advance - you're looking at a crowd of 82000+ here. The singer on the ticket at the time was not this singer (Floor Jansen), but Anette Olzon (second NW singer). Anette was fired and Floor was ask to complete the tour including WOA. It was not a surprise to find that NW asked her to permanently join the band.

You probably did not mention, that you cover the important parts of the video with yourself, so I could not see the nice gitarsolo at all. Better position for you might be in the left bottom corner and maybe a little bit smaller. Most pyros and backgroundscenes are more in the upper part. But please forgive me for that critics, I just want to help.

Watching the DVD in one piece is a good idea. The concert seems even better because there are intermediate moderations. The organ pipes are fake. The bull's head is the logo of the WOA. The festival area used to be a cattle pasture. Because of the technical facilities and spontaneous visitors, it is now a hayfield. The festival is one of the largest and oldest metal festivals, with 85,000 visitors. Stop as often as you want, it's your channel. You have to like it and no one else.

There are all kinds of sub-genres - too many to count. NW is what's called Symphonic Metal. There are recorded actual symphonic pieces and symphonic patches for the synthesizers (three) used. Also, you haven't seen all the instruments used by NW. They have a talented man who plays the Uilleann Pipes, high and low whistle (type of flutes), and a few other instruments.

"Showtime, Storytime is well worth having but you could do better! "Vehicle of Spirit" has not just 1 concert but 2 full concerts and at a bargain price. DVD and Bluray. They are the Wembley show and The Tampere show. Released in 2017 but the shows might have been 2016. Not sure. But they must surely rank as two of the best concerts ever recorded. And the only cure for getting in to Nightwish is more!

Pausing to give your reaction and for copyright is fine. Just remember to bring the video back a few seconds to maintain the flow and tempo of the song, and please know that many rock and metal fans consider pausing in the middle of a guitar solo something of a cardinal sin.
