Depressing? I respectfully disagree, I find this very uplifting and it's probably my favourite track on the album. "Follow me into the dark, To the birth of everything." That to me is hope and continuity in the face of the immensity of the universe.

This song is about death and the belief that we are all going to the endless unseen stream of consciousness at the end of everything. This is Marcos big song. A song called Endlessness could not be short. The subject is so profound and deep. Most of Nightwish are not big religious people. They consider themselves to be openly secular.

Hey guys, no that is definitely Marco, with Floor and Troy doing the chorus as well as Marco lol but what a way to end the album. A stunning end to a great album with quite a nice violin solo at the end which I can play. Also the symbol is Human Nature in Cuneform

This is 100% not the last song - now it's time for "All The Works Of Nature Which Adorn The World", which is broken up into individual parts. It's GORGEOUS and so worth listening to. I like it much, much more than Greatest Show On Earth, tbh.

Need to do “High Hopes” from Nightwish featuring Marco singing, is cover of Pink Floyd song, given NW treatment. Is from End of Era, I think you will enjoy this. @ Hypre Train, i have also Tickets booked for a Nightwish Show in Louxembourgs Rockhall, just as a side comment Tuomas and Jukka (there C.E.O) stated that from there side all Tickets are still valid and shows will be only postponed not canceled...so it just a matter of time. Also I think the song isn’t about death but rather about time

The symbol is what's on the cover of their new album: Human :||: Nature. It's in the cunei form (arrowhead writing) of the ancient Sumeria, southern Mesopotamia, now Iraq. It's written in the order: Human ------------ Nature

The meaning of the song is quite straightforward: the idea is that all of our atoms in the end return to the state they were in before we were born, that we are part of an endless stream of atoms that move through the universe. Thematically it actually harkens back to Greatest Show On Earth where Richard Dawkins talks about our brief time in the sun, well this one tells of the time before and after that time and how we should actually embrace that idea.

Guys...You definitely need new headphones....it is clearly "medium" sounding Marco alone. He can do plenty of great vocals from high tenor scale to low end bass growls...awesome singer also in his solo stuff just see it as well.

Depressive? The one who told you that, does not understand the lyrics. The DOOM feel is maybe depressive...but actually the message is quiet possitive. It's about human ife and universal life. Precious and rare. That it is endlessnes, the circle does not stop. Not depressive at all. And if we go over (to your sea) we all hope it will be quick and painless. (tippping the reaper) Saw all the faces in the clouds. humans being passed. Floor is the mother of life, life of a child, life of a new star in the uiverse.

The song is not about death. Yes, that's a part of the song. But it's really about... endlessness. The death is not the end. It's the end of this lifea s we know it, but it's the birth of everything. Well, not everything we know here. Just like life of a fetus is not the same anyone when it's born to to this life. It comes to a new world through the birth channel, just like many who've been telling about their near death experiences tell about the kind of worm hole they went through, or went some distances before waking here again. And to that new level is where God is calling us. If we accept that invitation, it's like the maternal egg receives the seed of life from the father, for a new life to be born, when a baby is born. Otherwise it just exits, gives it's blood for other life forms to use.

Depressing? It's beautiful...and you're still getting the album name wrong, Dave. 🤦 Floor's just released her English language version of the charity song she did for WarChild.
