This one oozes Energy from Second one......And as you maybe already found out...every song is different.....so we are happy to accompany you on your trip down this Rabbithole called Nightwish ! Maybe something softer again ? Try "Everdream" from Wacken 2013....shows also more Marco in it.....you WILL like it. Promised. And this is not only Metal....when Floor sings it is more.....she easily brings grown Men to tears..... When you say "I don't like metal", that means you've heard all 36 subgenres (or how many there are). Heavy, industrial, symphonic, dark, death, power, folk... Each are different enough and few people are fans of all of them. But diversity means most people can find the right one, and the truth is that metal as a whole contains some of the best singers in the world.

Metal is so out of my normal listening, but with the addition of Floor it makes it something different, I wouldn't classify this as metal, even though the band really does kick it, but when Floor sings it makes it something the likes of which I have never heard before....and I love it.

Every song from this gig is good! That said, I can't think of any bad ones. Hold off on dead boys poem and poet and the pendulum until you lookup the backstory on them. The experience will be awsome! Tampere, wembley, Buenos aries have killer songs also.

"It's music. . .there are no boundaries" Perfect comment! You've now heard Marco sing twice, I believe. There are many great examples of how perfectly his voice harmonizes with Floors. It's a rare gift for a band to have the abundance of skills this band has starting with amazing compositions. I think that's what your picking up on. They brought that energy for all 15 songs at this show. That was a 3 octave glissando that Floor did in tandem with Marko. The studio version, recorded in the Tarja era, only has Marko's 2 octave slide. This is one of their heavier songs, and one of the few that Emppu really shreds on, as they all play what the song needs and aren't out there to show off. The song is about a romance that has died.

Nightwish, and Floor herself, (with them and solo) are capable of an amazing range of music. Not just symphonic metal which is what they're most identified with. Just keep going, there is so much to experience on your Nightwish Journey, and with every level of emotion. I love to refer to Floor Jansen as The Dutch Valkyrie Queen of symphonic metal. Nightwish does much softer music as well. This is one of their most heavy metal style songs. I love the way you two react to the music and to each other. Lovely. Lest you start to think this is the only show they perform great live, think again. Wacken 2013 was incredible, but so were Tampere 2015, Wembley 2015, The Nightwish Baltic Princess Cruise 2015, Mexico City 2015, Masters of Rock 2016, Buenos Aires 2018, etc. So happy that Nightwish is out there performing live again. My wife and I saw them at the Warfield Theatre two weeks ago and Floor and the rest of the band were amazing. Tonight they performed live at Rockfest Hyvinkaa, Finland. The fan videos coming out of there look great even though it was raining on the crowd. Thank you for the reaction.

Gabriels list is a little bit old but good. About floor she did a lot sinds 2019 beste zangers 2019 2 solo songs some solo shows in Amsterdam. Further het work with ayreon star one and an other great symphonick metal band called epica and even with sabaton in their song chrismass thrues

Lady, the Kind of Music isnt the main Reason if we digest an Performance. I Love Pavarotti, Abba, Queen, Anne- Sophie Mutter doing 4 Season , best one is the first Record with Karajan and the Berlins Symphonics, and Nightwish. And if i have to explain why i love a Dozen Eros Rammazotti Songs since the late 80`s...well i cant, pure soft Ballad italian Pop, generic to the Bone- but i love it:). When an Song Structure isnt alldays Chorus, Verse, Bridge, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, end- and you have to listen to it more then once, only to catch up the Lyrics, then its not mainstream easy to listen to Pop Music. Like most Humans you surely love to be surprised by Something in an positive Way, and celebrating this Endorphenes. You mentioned Talent, Versality, Crowd Energy and Band Energy reflecting all the Time, thats what you expirience on an Nightwish Concert, no matter if 1000 ppl small Theater or Rock Stage, also as an 72k Festival like this. in my Eyes they are Professionals in many Ways and expecially Perfomance Setup, that stay true to their Core of having an absolute great Time and are happy to got the Chance to perform on this Level. I think that is what not only you, but many ppl are catched by, when beeing introduced to Them. The studio version of this song with Tarja Turunen on vocals never really made a great impression on me. This version however, with Floor is fantastic - I'm sure seeing the live performance and Floor's body language adds to the impact. This setlist by Nightwish was around 90 mins long - they usually play 120 mins but this was a festival so they had to stick to a schedule.

Andrei is more into rap and myself I like a bit dark, emotional stuff, such a Nick Cave (my favourite one) But really, it depends where mood takes us. One minute we can have a sing off to the 80's greatest hits, the next day we are dancing around to Shakira or Beyonce 😁

Gabriel's list is an excellent guide but it's not mandatory. Follow recommendations and you won't go far wrong - most will be on Gabriel's list anyway. As you don't have a Nightwish playlist I'm notcdurexwhat your first 2cwere. Mygtop 3 - well I won't mention number one as it should be saved for later. No 2 - Song of Myself from Wacken No 3 - 7 Days to the Wolves from Wembley Also great, well too many to mention but try Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean from Buenos Aires (as you mentioned Devil and dark) and Ghost River from Wacken also. Both have Marco (the bassist) as a major part (joint lead vocal). Nightwish don't normally mess about with long drawn out endings, you'll find. All the major recorded concerts are unbelievable - Wacken 2013, Tampere 2015, Wembley 2015 and Buenos Aires 2018. Also go back to 2005 Hartwall Arena, High Hopes sung by Marco as a tribute to Floyd. Nightwish Army UK Eastern division signing out for now...
