Thank you for doing your rendition of one of my favorite songs. I wish I could hand you a bouquet of roses right now. I’ve been saying for a long time to friends how I wished you would perform this piece someday. I always felt you deserved far more attention than you seem to receive. I realize the world of metal enjoys a bounty of extremely talented female vocalists these days. But your voice has a warmth and expressiveness that never loses itself in vocal gymnastics or flash. And I think your degree of artistic integrity and good taste deserves our recognition and admiration.

pero si vino hace dos años! Bueno al menos aquí a Monterrey que es su ciudad...a Marcela la conozco desde que cantaba en una banda llamada Hydra y luego Elfonia ...(es fan de Tolkien, allí cantaba en elfo ejeje) varios fines de semana la vi y saludé en un bar de jazz lounge que existía por acá, eso como en el 2005 o 2006...buenos tiempos.

The best musical moment for me was a non-musical one. Those of us who play (or the lucky one's who also have a vocal gift) still have those moments when we *think* we did our best, and we know we ought to *wait* to hear the play back to be certain before we say 'yes, that's the one, that's the take I will use'... ... but ... we let a little shard of glee show. Just as Marcela reaches to turn off the camera, she shares an eager, child-like 'bite my lower lip'. It's that moment when you are sure you did it right, it all felt right, and you can't wait to see if the recording agrees. That child is still in us all, and it loves to reinforce us when we excel. The song is beautiful. But the pure joy Marcela shows us is, to me, the rebound of the energy she just put forth wrapped in a selfless hope that the star she reached for was captured in the video. (this is the point at which the experienced commenter would sign off with a cumplido en español, but mi no hablo... I'm stuck with a few canned phrases I use in mi clinica, That's all I got )

A beautifully composed song by Nightwish (Tuomas) that always gives me goosebumps, whether I listen to Tarja's version or Floor's. But gosh, you sang this beautifully! With that beautiful vibrato in your voice and the way you sang it. It's also great that you chose to sing that bridge part (the moment when you turn your head away from the microphone).
