This concert is on the 'Showtime, Storytime' DVD, which also has an incredible 2-hour documentary about the band and how Floor had to come in and replace Anette Olzon deep into their US tour. Sadly, Anette refused to let any video or audio of her be used in the doc, so it definitely has an awkwardness in the restriction of live footage they could use. But once Floor joins then it's all smooth sailing and ends with their triumph.

There's a subtle dig at her in the doc where Tuomas is talking about dropping certain songs from the set, like 'Wishmaster', because Anette wasn't comfortable singing it. Then about an hour later they cut to a clip of them doing 'Wishmaster' with Floor and crushing it.

i can't remember when it was after all these years but back when Tarja was the singer they did a tour and chose Greece as the last stop so they can take their summer vacation there. i went to see them live and the next day i saw them as they were going around Athens in tourist clothes... almost didn't recognize them if not for Marco's beard

I love the beginning of this song. It always has me squirming like a little kid trying to open a lolly wrapper as fast as possible to get at what’s inside. And then I love what’s inside! Ps: I’ve only seen Tool live of all the big acts that get reacted to. Awesome shows. I’ve seen them twice and gone in cold sober (which isn’t always a preference) and come out drained and feeling stoned. Great stuff.

This was actually my favorite song from that album. But since it was an Anette album, I kinda preferred the instrumental version of this song. Sounds so much like a movie score. The beat, the sound of this song is just, so frikkin good. Its a tune that easily gets stuck in my head for days, resulting in my humming it non-stop lol

Great reaction as usual and yes you will wear out the DVD of this concert if you get it, and flashing it on the WALL will be as close to being there as can be!! Floor on a giant wall I don't know if the wall would survive that encounter (LOL). Well if you want Wacken tickets they go on sale the day after the last show (usually on the first Sunday of August) and sell out in less than 24 hours for the next year!! Yes you have to buy the tickets a year in advance not knowing the line up, except you know any real metal band wants to make it there to perform on one of the nine stages over the four day festival. If you can't get the tickets you can always contact one of the travel agencies working with Wacken to arrange the entire trip including the tickets (which run about $250 for the basic 4 days). Food and drink will run you another $40 a day depending how much you drink (LOL) and then look out the merch (Tees and Hoodies especially) will run $25 and $50 usually. My friend had a great time there and still has friends from Africa, Asia, Europe and South America BUT the merch maxed out his credit card so be fore warned.The 1800 villagers BTW are great, they open their homes to everyone offering bathrooms, resting places and just great conversations.
