I was lucky enough to have been to the National Archaeological Museum in Athens, some 15 years ago, and see the mechanism in person. It's a fascinating piece. It's usually referred to as the first "computer".

She would be proud and honoured I am sure 😊 I loved the outfit you created last year and I love this outfit too I did know about this mechanism as I do like to watch documentaries. It is seen as a very early computer, well before computers were supposed to have been thought of. What we can invent today is only because of what people invented many years ago, as the saying goes "We are standing on the shoulders of giants!". Each generation uses the knowledge gained by previous generations and it seems unfair when scholars think that our ancestors must have been less able to create than we are. I don't think that human creativity was any less back then than it is today, it is just that they didn't have the history of previous people inventing so many things back then. I think that they were just as capable as we believe ourselves to be I liked this track but I'm going to have to listen to it again with the lyrics in front of me to get the full effect 😊

I have known about the Antikythera mechanism for a while as I saw documentaries on it years ago about how they figured out what it was for. I think they even made a working replica even though half of the device is missing. This is also what the last Indiana Jones film (Dial of Destiny) is about. Looking good Floor😋

Outfit: great choice! Suits you way better than Floor imo (Wacken is still my fav for her in NW; her best outfits were in early After Forever) Song: at 4:40 some distinct Age of Shadows vibes there (see/react to: "Ayreon Universe - Age of Shadows Live at Tilburg 2017"). That song btw, has a male voice that's greatly missed here. You like Troy's (fair enough), while I don't much care for his vocals. Low key backing singer level at best. Sometimes it kinda works (Lanternlight, as a sound-effect right at the end), but here at the 2:10 mark, the epic feel instantly vanishes with the Troy insert. The other typical thing is the mix. It's not just that Floor has purposely been made part of the overall Nightwish "tapestry" as Troy explained in an interview, but rather that most of Troy's vocal parts are crystal clear compared to hers.

Great outfit. Your eye makeup was really heavy but it was clear that it was a tribute to Floor's Tampere makeup. The part that's missing from your clothing was the double helix meaning from Floor's clothing but I'm not sure it's worth copying because the meaning is hard to guess even with the real stage clothing. I definitely didn't understand the double helix meaning of the original clothing without seeing an explanation of it.

As everyone else has said, great job on the Floor Tampere look Nikki!! As for the song, it's an absolute banger, one of my top four from the album. Floor's voice still too low in the mix though IMO. Let's be honest, without access to the lyrics, it's almost impossible to make out more than the occasional word or two here and there. And Troy's voice? Still not a fan. Pleasant, nice, with good harmonies, but for me not strong enough to take the lead. I realise he's probably never coming back, but this album shows just how much vocally Marko is missed. Same with the live shows. No disrespect to Jukka's bass playing by the way, which is excellent throughout.

Great outfit, I like it, also great reaction! Concerning Troy's voice: In songs where it fits well I really like it but not in this song. I can imagine that Tuomas gave him more singing time to introduce him better to the audience as a singer after Marko has left but he has a completely other kind of voice that does not suit songs with a strong metal vibe. In those songs it would have been better to let Floor sing alone. She has the power to "sing for two".
