3:05 Tarja's voice is so dark and heavy during this era. She had a true gothic voice. I love her vocals in Century Child, her voice was so naturally dreary and grim compared to all the light sopranos during the rising popularity of symphonic metal at this time. She always stood out. Such an iconic song. So young but still delivered vocal performances like this most females in this industry can't even come close too.

@Sentinel Scourge gotta love the hostility and elitism on an inherently subjective medium If hou were to listen to the earliest known recording of the song then that would be as close to an original as you xam get and if lloyd weber was rhe first to compose the piece then his version would be the original and frankly in most of the covers i hear that straddle genres i happen to enjoy rock or matal versions than original classical or pop offerings because i in my subjective opinion enjoy the emotional output of rock/metal The metal version of "take me to church" 100% more emotionally appropriate given the story portrayed in the music video And thats just how it is for many metal fans no need to bring your elitist hostility
