@@budvabecicibudvanko-jq5fe I know this was written by Tuomas for Tarja and had something to do with men hitting on her wherever they went. He had feelings for her that weren’t really returned. The lyrics are about wanting love from someone who may never give it to you (an angel who can take the pain away) and realizing that love may not ever happen. At least, that’s what I think it means based on what I’ve read. Marko may be the dark angel who keeps it from happening, although I’m not sure about that part. Maybe that last part is just what I want it to be because Marko fits the part of a dark angel so well; just like he’s the perfect Devil in The Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean. :)

Hey,everybody,I want to present you my vision and what I imagine when I hear this song.I know the lyrics of this song are about lust and sex(which I don't like and don't give a fuck about) but I have a different view mainly about the melody and the riffs of the song more than for the lyrics,and, of course, about the way this song is sung by Tarja and the other members of the band. I hope you'll enjoy it because this is also my life's story because I was in love and still I am with a boy who is a demon with an angel's face. Mental movie for ,,Wish I had an angel” from Nightwish : A girl is in the queue at the photocopy in the highschool where she studies.Suddenly,a boy appears on the stairs in front of the photocopy,and she stares at him and his beauty,getting lost in her thoughts. Then,I appear in there,dressed in a long dark- purple dress with a little black on it,headdressed and with a makeup like Tarja or Shanon from Within Temptation,in a like-a-gothic-princess style,but just a little bit.There is,together with me,my rock band. The boy hugs the girl against her approval and from here on all the story of this short movie gets further. The girl starts being nervous and having heart fast beatings(palpitations) when she sees him in the main hall of the highschool where they both study. She is going to faint whenever she meets him. She begins to collect his Instagram and Facebook photographs and makes a chancel with his photos,and then she gets a big and beautiful picture of him,which she puts on the biggest wall in her house,and thus,everyday,the girl contemplates his beauty and his eyes,writes him love letters and poems and dreams of an eternal life spent together with him.But her love for him becomes an obsession.So,during her classes,she doesn’t pay attention to the lessons anymore,and feels how his ghost is breathing down her neck,as if he is just in there,flesh and blood.Her teacher tells her off and warns her to behave properly and in the movie we can see how the teacher is making gestures to her impatiently. The boy’s ghost is following her at home,on the street,wherever she is. By the time,in the movie clip, me and my rock band appear in there,in the middle of a group of professional sport dancers.The band and the symphonic metal female singer(me) are,literally ,in the center of the circle made by the dancers(because,in the real life,the boy that the movie is about is a dancer). One night,the girl has a dream. She is walking on the biggest hall of the highschool,and,all of a sudden,all around her turns into a land in the middle of a thick forest made of peculiar trees which are like some fir trees.In the darkness of the night(because it is night),there is only a very pale moon which is not like the one we,the obvious people(Earth dwellers),know. Suddenly,in that thick darkness,a beautiful and shinning-like-snow angel makes his appearance.It is the boy the girl is in love with. He approaches her,looking into her eyes with passion and cunning,grabs her by her middle and draws her to him in order to embrace her. She is shivering and becomes bewithched by his look,beauty and also his brightness.But she notices that the hand which he was embracing her with,turned out into a big black ugly claw with sharp and ugly nails.In that moment,she figures out that that angel is actually a demon. The boy’s face turns out into that of an evil and scary demon,his eyes become red like blood and he catches the girl in his arms very tightly and brutally. He catches her by her throat with his claw,kisses her and thus he tries to sip (suck) her soul. In the room where she is sleeping,the girl is struggling terribly with the dream she has. In the girl’s room, enters a priest and the girl’s parents. The priest prays at her head and moves the cross along her body for several times. In this time,the band,the soprano and the dancers appear sometimes. Then,when the song returns strongly with the guitar riffs and Marco’s voice,in the short movie of the song,an eclipse takes place on the sky in the girl’s dream.The sun is making his appearance little by little,beyond the moon and the demon releases the girl,who faints on the ground.The demon starts being burnt in the strong sunlight because the prayers of the priest are making progress. The soul of the girl returns like a tornado in her body. When Marco repeats ,,I wish I had an angel” for several times(the song approaches its final),we can see how the girl is struggling and sweatting while,in her dream,the demon is burning in flames. When the demon becomes just ash and the girl’s soul returns in her body,the girl wakes up,breathing heavily(,,Ahh”) with her eyes wide open.Aditionally,the priest and the girl’s parents breathe easy too… The End
