Tuomas wrote this song telling off all the internet trolls. This is from the Nightwish cruise on the Baltic Princess in 2015. One of the heavier songs from the 2015 Endless Forms Most Beautiful album, first one recorded with Floor and Kai The most recommended versions are from Wembley and Mexico City because it's easier to hear, on first listen, that Marko is singing clean and Floor is growling in all the choruses. This song, and to a lesser extent, Ghost River at Wacken, is about all the growling you'll get from Floor with Nightwish. She did more of that with her previos band ReVamp. Check out "Disdain" and "The Trial of Monsters" by ReVamp from Graspop 2010.

Yes, it is available to purchase, or stream. It is from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful album, the first album with Floor as lead vocalist, released in 2015. There is also a DVD/BluRay available (named Vehicle of Spirit) that contains 2 concerts (Webley and Tampere) from the EFMB tour. Both have this song on them and both of those recordings are available on YT. There is also one from Mexico City in 2015. All of them are a bit better quality than the one you just watched. Still this one has its charms as it is the smallest venue (it is on a cruise ship) and shows Emppu joking around with Marko (clapping out of time) at the beginning. Gotta love him.

Not Wembley. Baltic Princess Cruise. This version has the most views only because it has been out on YT the longest. Floor's death metal growls under Marko's cleans are almost completely buried here. Love Floor's choice to delibertly sing slightly off key during the breakdown to make her vocals even more creepy and haunting. If you want to hear Tuomas at his angriest then checkout the song Master Passion Greed. Super heavy and aggressive. Never played live it is directed at Tarja's husband who the band blamed for changing Tarja. Part of the breakup trilogy along with Bye Bye Beautiful and Poet and the Pendulum. If you want angry Floor songs then Revamp is the way to go. Revamp was her second band, completely controlled by her. She put it together and wrote all the music as well as managing all aspects of the band. At the time she was in a dark and angry place after the end of her first band After Forever (legal and business issues led to their break up) as well as the end of her 7 year relationship with the lead guitarist and one of the founders of After Forever. Last I will recommend a different song from the Baltic Princess Cruise, Edema Ruh. A beautiful folky acoustic performance of the song inspired by the Patrick Rothfuss books of the Kingkiller Chronicles. The Edema Rue are a group of nomadic performers who travel about the countryside performing music, plays, and storytelling. They are the keepers of the culture and myth. A beautiful song that was almost the single off Endless Forms Most Beautiful instead of Elan. Tuomas clearly identifies with Nightwish being like the Edema Ruh.

This was recorded during a Nightwish cruise. The video and audio are not very good here, arguably the worst recording of this song. Wembley and Mexico have much better quality, do yourself a favour and check them out too :) Here you can barely hear Floor growling and most reactors think Marko's doing it, because the camera doesn't focus on Floor when she's growling.

Yeh, this is probably the poorest quality recording of this song out there. But even so, it knocks you off of your feet. But then, this is Nightwish. Battery is almost cathartic, but, if you want to hear Nightwish at its angriest, you need to listen to Master, Passion, Greed. If you do, go for the audio only. The version with visuals is just a mashup of clips of the members of the band and it, IMO, takes away from the intensity of the song itself.

The Wembley version or Mexico City are better sounding as well as the filming. Many reactors are led to this one. Still OK, but not quite as good. Difficult to hear Floor's growls during the chorus.
