Ngl, The Warning is a lot to process. That blacklist cover of Sandman had been on a playlist for a while, pleasant, poppy, biding its time until Spotify recommended a new release: Keep Me Fed, immediately sending me into ⚡🤟shock. Mentally putting ages to 3 (three!) slept on, already released albums did not exactly help me snap back to reality either. They might just be the most dangerous band in the world. You have been warned. PS: Now it's the Teatro Metropolitan version of Enter Sandman that's on heavy rotation in this house.

Name a band today who does a song as beautiful as this? I couldn't even explain the rush of emotions flowing through me. It's a mix of medieval, baroque, folk music with modern lyrics. Hints of James Taylor, Simon and Garfunkel with a dash of The Beatles.. WTF right? Played in a minor key, but it brings me so much happiness. I ravish in the blending of their voices and harmonies. And when the melodica came in, it gave me "The Godfather" vibes only to realize.. wait Romain is French so of course it's not Italian but a French café music of sorts. This hits you right in the middle of your heart, doesn't it? Such a tendre, delicate, melancholic, beautiful song. The combination with the orchestra, the duet with Troy, that gorgeous ending. It immediately guides you to memories of the loved ones that passed away. I want this song being played at my own funeral. I think that says it all.

Evergrey is such an underrated band. They always hit the mark. And, with Floor, they move it up another notch. She and Tom sound just wonderful together.
