Recently subbed to your channel, love the Japanese coffee culture, and the combination of it with gaming. I also roast my own coffee, chances are that the beans you showed at the beginning were roasted a too high of a temperature and for too long. Resulting in parts of the bean exploding, and what you're left with is that hollow shell. Keep up the work with your channel, sir!

Thanks for opening up to comments and suggestions, I think it's definitely a good thing especially if it turns into a regular/more often thing. There's a balance between oversupply of content (by those who do it for a living) and making just enough that people really look forward to the next thing! Shameless self plug but I really enjoyed the go-pro stuff of outdoor Japan, including the yo-yo one, always look forward to when they are out, sure more people here too. As always if you plan on talking about more stuff you could open up the topic to comments(public) but I also think there's a certain touch to topics you really care about and as other people here said it's nice to hear your thoughts. Just regards to coffee part, maybe a new blend, intresting fact, talk about the weather, happenings or something intresting you saw today; just to show some new to the viewers each time, keep them looking forward and exited! I think you unboxing various stuff relates, because in life we all own only a few pair of shoes and perhaps we look to Nihongo to show off all his stuff which we still are wonder where he gets the money from for all of it. 13:37 Alway hilarious and it's like we are getting in on the joke when the script sometimes(in other videos) seem funny or random That's all form me for now, the rest is just comments about this video which I really enjoyed, cheers also to you! ----- Haha so interesting to see the flavor on the coffee split into 3, so efficient and more regimental than the crappy ambiguous paragraph I get on my coffee packets! And why get coffee from Doltoro? Is coffee hard to get in Japan too? I remember my holiday to China 5 years back where there weren't any coffee shops and now you might be able to find coffee beans or grounded coffee in wealthy places where such market exists. Or do people just really like their "boss" (Tommy Lee Jones haha) coffee they don't bother? Oh just heard you explain in a monotonous way why haha. And on a note of the success of your Playstation TV in action video, I think you explain the new technology to those wanting to know more or buy better. In depth of the issues or key things plus manage to relate it to how it could be used or why it's a good thing, which I think answer most immediate questions most viewers have. I think this is why I subscribed, your N3DS video was really truthful and clear almost like I was talking to an enthusiast about it so it convinced me to final pick one up!

+Jack Jellybean Thanks for all the awesome thoughtful advice :) The chain stores sometimes have surprisingly good coffee so I figured it couldn't hurt to try it out. And even with my complaining about the bean quality, it tasted pretty decent. Nothing to write home about though :)

really loved this video man. I love coffee and found it very interesting to hear about 2 things I liked at the same time. Was drinking coffee as well while watching this lol ~ and the cafe/classic music bgm's really made it seem as though you were talking to us in a coffee shop so nice touch I also own the vita tv and basically have the same opinions as you do on it. My main reason for purchasing it however is because I'm visually impaired and needed an alternative option to gaming when it comes to vita/psp handhelds. I also believe that having a stronger library when it comes to classic games on VC would've helped a lot too ie PSX. PS2.
@NihongoGamer8 жыл бұрын
+Andrew Nguyen Needing it for your visual impairment is a super legit reason for hoping PS TV would be everything the Vita was but with a larger screen. Shame about the artificial compatibility lock they put on it. Hopefully more consoles will have much better accessibility features in the future :)

+NihongoGamer Yeah, but for the most part I can enjoy some old games and some new ones enough without too much hassle :) Now, if only Nintendo came out with something for the 3DS! I stopped playing a lot of games on the handheld because I couldn't see things well enough.

The Lego Movie bundle, normally $99, was going for 30 bucks last year during Black Friday. If you didn't feel like paying so much for an actual Vita, you at least should have tried to scoop up that bundle. The vita has a VERY decent selection of games. Shame Sony literally sabotaged it's success. AND it's been hacked so now nearly all games work. SO many original AND AAA-quality titles.

How is that coffee hot by the end? I use a the same type of drip cup and even if I go straight from the kettle into the filter thing it drops past optimum (subjective I know) temperature. I have to fill my coffee cup with boiling water and throw it away just before I fill it with coffee. The process here has two extra steps to loose temperature!

Solder Joe hand drip is great you can weigh the beans and you can get a nice swirl going with a timer and having the pot on a scale so your weighing the end product while your pouring so you only get so much per 10-15 seconds is the only true way to get full balanced coffee. It's just simply the way coffee was meant to be made.

I use my PlayStation TV to record gameplay footage all the time. There is a very easy and simple way to bypass the HDCP - you just plug the device into any splitter, switcher or scaler that takes HDMI 1.3 as an input. Personally, I have mine plugged into a HDMI/SCART to HDMI upscaler that I use for my Sega Mega Drive - does the trick beautifully. You can also upscaler it from 720p to 1080p if you wish.

This turned out to be surprisingly relaxing. PS TV is a fun device, since it's my PS1/PSP RPG powerhouse (damn expensive memory cards) and playing Vita games with a controller is much more comfortable, plus you can occasionally find them for $20 new. One big negative for convenience was, last I checked, there is no Netflix app. I was going to replace my Roku with one, but without the media side (Hulu, Acorn, Netflix), it really limits its overall appeal.

Also, I don't think streaming is the future of gaming.This would mean that your console would have to be online at all times to play games and since there are more poor people in the world than rich, this would actually be quite the expensive thing because, as someone who doesn't have access to the internet all the time, I'd have to play Offline on my PS4 or Vita and I think people will always want that. I think gaming will truly sort of "die" when they release only digitally because it's actually not that convenient as people may think it to be. Since consoles live for about 6-8 years on a normal basis (though they evolve and lean more towards becoming low-end gaming pc's), this would mean your hard drive would get filled really easily (It's already happening now). Imagine having to buy a new hard drive every year because you just don't have any space left. That's when they are gonna start screaming "stream games instead" but there are cons to that as well. - You don't actually own the game - Reliant on internet - Always online - Reliant on servers Imagine game developers now needing massive servers for everyone to enjoy their product. Indie developers would die instantly if the market were to be Streaming games only (and I'm talking about the indie developers that aren't partnered with mayor companies as Sony and Microsoft, because they could easily provide them with servers if there is a profit to be made).

Ahhh the marriage of coffee making and gaming news. Very civilised Nihongo gamer. now all I want is someone to make me coffee like that! (because it looks rather time consuming, but lovely). One thing I find consistently bad about Sony is their advertisement of games on their shop. They have the bare minimum amount of info of a game along with either some screenshots, or none at all! I just wish they would improve this so it was easier to learn about the games they have and be able to buy them without googling them instead.

My opinion, the PS tv should have been marketed as first as a streaming device, no need to get crazy just give us the basic streaming channels every one wanted. It should have been shipped with a remote like the roku or nexus player. Secondly it should have been marketed as a way to play some old psx psp and games and by the way it plays a select number of vita titles specifically fit for tv. And lastly, if you have one a way to stream your ps4 to other rooms. The average consumer is very interested in streaming boxes these days, if Sony could have shown the consumer they could have more for less as a streaming device it would have been (more) likely to succeed. Never in a million years should this device been associated with the vita a system that has long been dying here in the US. Just my opinion.

in my opinion ,I like , I like it alot , even though the only game I've got for it is Gundam VS Extreme , I'm still loving it, but I do have a couple of complaints only 1gb of memory? compatability list is stupid? no custom Controllers? I forgot to get a memory card , I brought a pre owned one so it was only £25 , but I notice it didn't have alot of memory then I remembered, I FORGIVE TO BUY A MEMORY CARD. I couldn't get gundam extreme on a card so I had to downlaod it but I waned to test out some demos , but the demos I wanted to try they don't work because of the compatibly list and I raged like that guy who says "GET THE HELL OUT FROM MY ROOM I'M PLAYING MINECRAFT" Acctually the minecraft port on the psvita isn't bad actually now when I mean custom controllers I mean like , my game cube adapter which works on my ps3 , and my ps2 to ps3 Controller adapter , they don't work either , the only controllers that work are my official ps3 controllers , my awesome red ps4 controller , and a may flash ps3/ps2/usb arcade stick I wish some adapted work but it looks like I'll have to keep dreaming other then from the complaints I have , I still love it , and I'm gonna try and get a HD Capture soon to record Gameplay because I love Gundam EXTREME! Games Whitelist - the most stupid thing Sony did for a long time; I couldnt ran like half my games because of it. And Practically all of them would run on VitaTV well (vide community hack, that sony patched). I will n e v e r understand decisions like this. Few my friends didnt buy VitaTV because they didnt even know what games they really can play.
