Vita would have survived if they didn't make the memory cards highway robbery and made more exclusive games and if Sony would have actuallly stuck by it

the memory cards were the killer, the load times were hit and miss depending on the game and developer of said game that was using a certain game engine that was more load bearing on the Vita! most games are super super quick... Persona 4 gravity rush, capcom vs marvel so on and on were pretty regular load times and nothing out of the ordinary... it being not so successful can be linked to mainly the memory cards being proprietary, lack of marketing in the west here, and the 3ds being less in cost and the many IP's it had state side compared to PS vita! and that it had already gained major popularity just by having the Nintendo brand alone! The PS vita is excellent and if it had a few things different here it to probably would of went through several processes like the 3ds 2ds and new 3ds xl.. it never got that far here TO get the major revisions other than the 2nd model! look at the psp! it had three revisions! but also sold over 70 million units as of 201, the vita has about 15 million sold world wide give or take! thats why..

Actually, the blue Vita is available in the West, at least in North America. But not the other awesome colors (my personal favorite if I didn't already own 3 Vitas OLED, is the neon orange).

The PSTV is the reson the PS VIta flopped. Stupid on Sony's part to release a cheap console to compete with their flagship ps4 product.

My local gamestop still regularly sells ps vita's albeit pre-owned, they go out relatively quick for just $150. Although I bought mine online for the same price but it came bundled with Uncharted and Playstation Smash Bros.;Vita's are rare to see in the US but gamestop.com and some stores still sell them. The colored ones would've been nice to have though. Buying skins for it are just as nice though.

The US has had some color releases like thr all blue vita, I bought my vita off eBay and got a GodEater 2 vita bundle, I also got the Pokemon New 3DS 20th anniversary with the faceplates, I like having special edition systems since they add something different to the console without needed decals.
