Nike Air Force One Custom - Rit Dye ‘Emerald’

In this video we take a pair of all white Air Force One’s and dye them with Rit Dye Emerald. This was a fun project. To see the transition color go from snow white to money green was super cool to witness. The process really does work for those of you asking if it really works. A few hours in the dye and you got a new pair of kicks. Don’t be afraid to try it out. Give me a holler if you want me to do this dying process on your favorite pair of kicks.

After you acetone the shoe, do you have any uneven marks? I have a problem with that and also some parts appear darker than the other panels. Any tips to get a more even dye would be great! Ur shoe came out really nice.

Hey, thanks for watching! I usually don’t see any uneven marks from the acetone. I try to use a cotton pad that doesn’t leave residue and complete that process within 5-10 mins. I have seen some panels come out darker. This shoe did seem to be darker from the back compared to the front of the shoe. I would suggest using 2 dyes and boil you solution for the best results. Most likely it won’t be perfect, but you can make them look perfect because you’re the artist. No one will ever know if you don’t tell them.. best of luck with your next project..!
