will these shoes be limited time? im pretty new to looking into shoes and dont really know how stocking works, rn they are in stock but im wandering if i should get them now or later, as i have 2 other shoes im looking at buying as well. my sport is volleyball and im also wandering if these would be suitable for that sport as well or if i should pick traditional shoes made for volleyball, great vid btw

Thanks for stopping by! I'm not 100% familiar with volleyball gear with the exception of the ball but based on a quick search for the shoes they look to be low cut shoes that provide stability since you're making quick cuts. Based on that, these arent the most stable shoes, not for volleyball in my opinion. The shoes themselves were a special edition though and generally are limited. This particular shoe was easy to get in general fortunately.

If you like them and want them, id say the time to get them is now where you can get a pair at a really great price and we're approaching the next version being announced some time soon. When that happens it can become Increasingly difficult to find pairs.

Which colorway do u recommend? Is there any difference in the material?

Nike released new colors this week but my favorite is still the allstar colorway. In terms of materials, they all seem to feature the same type of material as the ASW version.

I went true to size and I’m a wide footer. With that, I haven’t experienced no hill slippage. Best Nike BB shoe of this year so far. I feel the Zoom X does kick in more the more you break it in and warm it up. Great review, I’d just say it is TTS Better than the Lebron 21 but not better than the Lebron 20.

Thank you! I’ll have to try my tts then, I’ve had no luck going tts with the gt cut 2 or gt jump 1 so it was all based on how the previous versions fit, I appreciate the feedback!

I loved the LeBron 20, they fit good and the cushioning was great and responsive. The 21 feels more firm and the shoe for me fits more narrow than before.

@@thereviewd no problem. I’ve had issues with the sizing on GT line too. I didn’t get the Cut 2 because it was so tight I had to go 1.5 sizes up. So I was hesitant going TTS with these. But they fit like a glove. I’ll get one more pair when they drop in price.

Would you take these or the LeBron 20/21 in terms of the cushioning? I’m loving the LeBron 21 but the ZoomX felt nice from try-on in the forefoot.

I’m a big lebron shoe fan, I’ve always enjoyed the tech in LeBron’s, having played in the 20s I definitely like the fit and feel of those over the GT Cut, I have the 21s but haven’t actually played in them so I’ll have to come back to you on that one.

20s are better than these. But these are better than the 21s. 21s don’t have the same heel comfort as these and the 20s IMO

@@vincentdiaz108 I’ve had both and can see where you’re coming from comparing the 20 heel vs the 21. For me it was the forefoot Zoom Turbo, I just really couldn’t feel it in the 20s (which is what I care about more, forefoot cushioning).

With the materials on the upper, for sure, it’s felt type of material, so they’re likely to be dirt magnets. On the flip side, they should be relatively easy to clean as well.

Thank you so much!!! I really appreciate that! For me, going up a half size, it fit a little long but they felt fine from a width perspective. There was another comment that said they went tts with wide feet and it fit fine. Based on my experience with the gt cuts, they’ve run narrow so I’ve gone up a half size. They’re a really good shoe though, comfy, bouncy, and they look good.

Hey great video man!! In terms of the weight, what shoe would you compare it to? I think most like lighter shoes in general but the Lebron 20 and Kyrie 5 low currently my favorites.

Definitely comparable in weight compared to the LeBron 20, they weighed about 13.5 oz in a size 12 if I’m remembering correctly… they were noticeably lighter. These were the same, bringing them out they were noticeably light.

Did you feel like the base of the shoe was a bit unstable with the shape of the zoom x midsole? I tried them on and they felt like I was wearing heels. Wondering if you felt the same

So it’s weird the one thing I felt is, it’s a thick foam, so you definitely feel higher off the ground, which kind of mutes the court feel. I didn’t feel it was unstable since the base of the shoe seems to be a bit wider so it kind of cups your foot.

Crazy thing is, i got them discounted to I think $150 since they were just sitting. Such a great looking shoe, especially the ASW version since it has some different design details.

I would stick with the size you’re using now if they fit pretty well and sizing seems to be consistent.

What I should buy: gt cut 3, gt cut academy, lebron 21 or ja 1? I’m pg, 182 70, need awesome traction. Also, I would like to start training jumping for dunks, so cushion and not really bad support is really essential for me Or can you advice some another good kicks for that options?

I really liked the gt cut 3, it was just a little expensive for what you get. If cost isn’t an issue, definitely go for it, the cushioning is bouncy and plush. For a guard, I feel like a lower profile shoe with better court feel is probably best. If you don’t mind going to different brands, the harden volume 8 was really good to play in and the GT Cut academy features zoom so it should provide lower profile cushioning giving you better court feel AND they’re super affordable.

So…. I have only played in the wow shadow 4 and absolutely loved them. They were a great mix of everything, traction, cushioning, design, and fit. I have yet to play in the all city 11/v2 but based on how great the shadow 4s were… I’d have to say the 11 v2.

@plantbaesed gonna say it now, I think you’ll love them. Absolutely enjoyed the wow shadows, I have to assume all city 11 will be right there. Same here though, mostly Nike/jordan and tried wiw based on a weartesters video and I loved it.
