Make no mistake about it - signing Michael Jordan was THE turning point to appealing to the masses for Nike. Probably the best business move of all time. Crazy to think Jordan hasn’t left and stayed loyal all these years you don’t get that loyalty from these new athletes anymore.

Jordan didn't know about creating a business at that time, nor did he care to. Was he suppose to stop playing basketball to start and run a full time business? Who would be his brand since he wouldn't be playing. The guy is a billionaire, owner of a basketball team and gets 130 million a year from Nike just for his name, and you still find a way to criticize the man. SMDH.
