Yep I went to Nike and saw every size! I copped. The thing is this: I wear a 15 so most times for me, if I let them sit and wait for a sale, they are gone pretty quickly so I’d rather pay retail now and wait to see if there’s a sale within the first 60 days. I’ll do a return and purchase the sale price since it’s free shipping. I’ve also called Nike and asked them to credit me the sale difference and they did.

Im pretty sure the launch ended part is because of bots and the different way Nike weeds them out during the purchase part of the launch...it most likely just switches the algorithm then opens it up for "normal sale" after the launch timeframe...I don't think it's anything fishy or tryin to lie to consumers cause there's much much better ways to accomplish that and I don't think they would put them back up that quick if they were going for that type of thing...would make more sense to hold a few days then "restock" them to build the maximum interest..kinda like the olympic 4 double restock a week after release day

In fact, it’s a marketing strategy that many companies do with all types of products. It’s all about perception/manipulating the human brain.

The same thing happened with the Alexis Sablone SB Dunks. I took an L on the pack and shoe itself, I just happened to go back on the SNKRS APP an hour later, and the sho was in stock, a full size run.

When pairs is back dooring for $40 less than retail 2 weeks before the drop, it very high odds its a lot of pairs out there. That trick isn't new, Nike does it all the time. (Ticketmaster been using it for decades). It's all about allocation and un-allocated inventory. Sneakers drops are just one of many allocations made for a new shoe. Sneakers drops are not a service for customers, they are market demand intel gathering event. If they really were about the customer, you would have a button to click to get in line for any restock when you take an L, easy to do and not like they don't get your info when you sign up to reach out and let people know. Nike is about that wholesale not the retail. Plus that resell price bump when those L's start going to plan B will help move that un-allocated inventory all the faster as those wholesale to retail margins move higher. Nike just trying to move that inventory from its warehouse to the resellers' so they don't have to pay for the storage.

Every GR release on snkrs has been on nike after 10.. i just bypass snkrs now, and just check Nike... this is nothing new and not a trick.. even what pairs were available, mainly grade school and little kids were on nike after launch.

They always did that, nothing new. Ofcourse its a draw. The moment the draw ended, you cant saw them in the app. Maybe they process who win or lose after it. But try opening it later the shoe will be there. Unless if it is a collab/hype shoe for sure you will never see it there again. 😅

It’s over fam! Nike “canceling” hype shoes left and right. I don’t know who’s leaking these drops but it seems it’s just wishfull thinking. Black cats? Nope. Chicago og’s? nope. Travis Scott’s? Nope. So the reimagined 5’s look to be legitimate. The Wu tangs seem legit, but I haven’t actually seen them in hand this close to release, so who knows. Plus I’m guessing they’ll only release about 100 pairs which will only be available at some trendy shoe shop in NY. I’m starting to take the hint Nike, collabs and premium materials are for the elites and resellers, cardboard and pleather are for the idiots who have a couple hundred dollars. 2025 ain’t going to be no different than any other year, maybe 5 bangers and a ton of “who cares” colorways.
