Nike Zoom Mercurial Vapor 15 Elite soccer bootse Sizing Issue with my boots compared to my other Nike Running Shoes (Pegasus and Vomero)
True to size does not fit for me, but the next size up does. This video illustrates by comparing the sole of the shoes.

When they say "true to size" in reviews, they usually mean the same size you normally buy in football boots. One tip: For tight synthetic boots, put them on a thin stick, like a broom or the leg of a stool upside down, (the thinner the stick the better -no piercing end though-), and then use a steamer for clothes and steam the boot all around and inside as well. Use the whole water tank on one boot and put it on. And then repeat on the other. Wear them and walk around for like 15 minutes. Do this daily for about a week and the boot will mold to the shape of your foot like a glove.

I collect Nike Mecurial indoor shoes. For me I have to size up .5 to have a comfortable fit. So my regular running shoe 10.5 and my indoor soccer shoes 11. I guess they are made to fit more tight/snug compared to your generic runners. Great video!

Finally a person with a Similar struggle. I always find my self in between shoes, so for example I'm stuck between size 10 or 10.5 us. And with these new mercs the size 10 is waaaaay too tight , while the 10.5 is decent enough, not exactly Bair foot but still good enough. Also my big toe points slightly upwards therfore I need a higher toe box. I bought a size 10 adidas speedportal and honestly they fit perfectly. But that could be down to the fact that the speedportal fit half a size larger so a siE 10 fits more like a size 10.25. Moral of the story, don't trust most youtubers when talking about sizing, I recommend going to the store and trying a plethora of boots and recording your size of different boot brands and models. Having a database of sizing really helps preventing wrong size orders online

Try a different color. It’s weird but sometimes they make the size different. Example the Turquoise ones are different than the maroon ones.

I've had the same issues that you mentioned. Had repeated black toenails, I guess which is down to the inflated balloon that sits beneath the foot which makes the boots very tight fitting.

I just got a pair of vapor 15 elites and I found I've a serious sizing issue. They're so so tight in the forefoot / toe box area. Although synthetic they're bound to stretch out after awhile wearing them with 2 pairs of socks. HOPEFULLY

Try a different color that turquoise ones are very small

Same here. 8.5 mercurials have always been too small for me so I use mercurials in size 9 now and they’re great. For me it’s not true to size it’s half size bigger.

So I’m a 9.5 but wide feet get a 10.5 then for more comfortably

I’m glad I found this, I play soccer on every single surface, turf, grass, I’m also wearing 8.5 on everything, except running shoes (I wear 8s), I got mercurial pros in 8.5 , at first when I wear them they feel fine, very snug (the way I like them) but after some time and running in them, my toes start feeling sensitive and hurting, I’ve also got black toes from them

Had same issue recently with superly 9’s that I ordered. Usually I fit in a 10.5 or 10 US, so for good measure I ordered both sizes off the nike website. They finally come in and I try on the 10 first, which ends up being to tight, so I think “no problem, the 10.5 should be just right”. 10.5 also ended up being just a bit to tight. Was pretty surprised considering I have predator mutators which are US 10 and fit my feat perfectly. I actually lined the size 10.5 superfly next to my size 10 predator and the predator looked to be a bit longer, safe to say I’ve got no idea whats going on with nike’s sizing.

Yeah... my Nike Phantom GXs are 2 sizes bigger than my Nike Dunks that I wear almost everyday. My Jordan 1s however are only half a size smaller than my Football Boots. How is the size difference so big when it's not even a different brand.

I issue was the same.. black toenails... BUT it was with the Mercurial superfly 14 size 9 us... I got the 15 in 9.5 US and theyre actually the exact same size. Frustrating, but I will just return it since I'm not going to even bother trying them in game. P.S, The Mercurial 14 gave me really bad blisters on the instep of my foot, like they would rip my skin off after an intense game/session.

Ok I also had the same issue so I ordered a different color and they felt so much better. The nike zoom mercurial vapor 15 elite kb came in a little bigger. So did the silver ones. The turquoise color and the white like the ones in this video were smaller and gave be a black toenail.

i have the turquoise ones 10.5 they fit perfect i just got the limited edition sunset vapors 10.5 but there is no way i can wear those they too tight i am so sad they re sold out now i cant even get bigger size
