Fabulous video. I really enjoyed learning a lot. I have been blown away in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto how "perfect" the bars are!! This is a culture that strives for perfection and to visit a really high quality bar in a city like Tokyo is a very special experience for spirit lovers. Bars are often in a building and are much smaller in size than what I am used to in Vancouver or bars I have been to in the U.S. and Europe. I'm grateful for your superb explanation here about how this mind blowingly delicious gin is prepared and distilled with a coffey still. The particular botanicals in this gin are so complex and I had never had many of them in a gin. I love a wide range of gins - the London Dry gins with a huge Juniper punch and many of the craft cocktails gins! This beauty is fabulous!! Cheers!! 🙂

Japan has always been on my “bucket list” - to experience the unique culture, the food, the nature and the people… and of course their gin. I love how they seem to strive for perfection in almost every thing they do! Now I want to go even more.. 😜 Thanks, Christine

I've been drinking too much Bombay Sapphire and yet to broaden my horizons much. This one really intrigued me, will be picking up a bottle tomorrow. It really looks like something that I would really enjoy. Thanks for the review!

@@highongin Just poured myself a glass of it and my God is it incredible! It is hands down the best gin I have ever tasted, the flavors are so amazing. It was great hearing the detailed explanation from you on how they make it as well, makes me appreciate it so much more. Looking forward to checking out more of your video's since I am really keen of trying other types of Gin as well. Thanks!

In my mind, Nikka is such a good gin ♥️ What we prefer and how we perceive different flavors can be very individual so it can difficult to suggest things! For me Bombay (20€) and tanquery (15€) or roku (22€) tasting like cheap spirits with a strong alcoholic taste like cheap wodka - I wouldn’t buy them anymore because if you spend 10€ more there are worlds between them. Berliner Brandstifter (37€) or Nikka Coffey Gin (35€) are soo much better.
