[nikke] modernia solo raid season 21 - challenge @ 11b ~ 0.08%

happy new year to everyone! i hope you've been doing fine and well ~ ✨ this raid is a little bit heavy on the optimisation side of things due to the number of parts available. there is still a lot that i do not know and understand, so please feel free to share your findings with everyone here in the comments! i'll appreciate it. ☺️ 1. setup your teams as usual, with one cdr, one buffer/enabler, 1 fire type nikke, and 1 healer. if you feel very healthy at the end of the fight, you can definitely drop your healers for another off burst buffer or support. 2. you can dodge and i-frame the missiles to optimise your damage. i have a short video here (kzbin.infotNBJ57L_qJU?feature=shared) on how to do so, and it works with a lot of the fights in nikke, so it's a good opportunity and time to learn! else, if you're lazy like me, you can turn on aim assist and let the AI deal with it for you. 3. having a rocket launcher user will make the mass qtes easier, but the circles are pretty fragile, so you can quickly shoot them all down instead, if you are unable to slot in a rocket launcher user. 4. you do a lot of damage with splashing and piercing. with rapi and A2 for example, you will not focus on the parts, and instead let them splash to pad damage from their skills. for piercing, i found it easier to hit multiple parts when the piercer is located at the far most left or right side of the team. 5. you can have an easier time dealing with her teleporting phase by leaving her wings low, and killing one of them when she starts to quickly teleport, since the wings will only spawn at certain timings. that way, you'll only have to deal with one wing's set of spawns. however, i am not sure if that will affect your overall damage, as i can't see if the destroyed parts awards damage. 6. after optimising, i managed to get an 11b score. i might make another video with that score if i have time. but as always, feel free to wait for the last few days of the season to see what comes up on the leaderboards! some other tech discussions that have come up includes tanking a failed qte to get a distance bonus, delaying the core kill to time mari's pierce buff, and timing bursts for aoes during the mass qtes. i am not sure how it works, so please feel free to let me know if you managed to figure it out. all the best, good luck, have fun, and don't forget to stretch and hydrate ~ ♡⸜(˃ ᵕ ˂)⸝♡

I don't know why, but I had difficulty hitting the far QTE with A2 when Modernia flies off into the background, so I have to slot in a 2nd fire Nikke for my A2 team. Do you have to save burst for that part, or is it skill issue? I otherwise managed to hit 7.8b with the comp you posted yesterday.

hey! if you're using A2 outside of burst to hit the QTE, you'll have to make sure that your crosshair stays in the circle after she releases the projectile. i don't know the specifics, but her projectile is a little different from what we're normally used to. i ended up relying on controlling ludmilla instead, since my burst comes up there. congratulations on your 7.8b! 🥳

@@snhrxx Ohh okay that makes sense. Thanks for always posting your raid vids and advice, been very helpful with team comps every time. I find they usually work better for my roster than the ones I see at the top of the leaderboard on my server.

thank you very much for being here and for your kind words! i'm lazy and visually impaired. i don't wanna retry so much lols, so i tend to make teams that are easier for me to play, usually at the cost of damage. i noticed that my "video guides" are pretty favourable for a lot of people, and i think it's because of the whole giving a fish vs teaching to fish. a lot of my friends and viewers eventually beat my score, and that couldn't make me much happier. i'll keep doing my best moving forward! :>

hey! good to see you again. my 2B and A2's investments were leftovers from their release, and i haven't touched them since. 2B - 7/7/7, 4 OLs w/ bad lines, R0 doll A2 - 7/7/7, 4 OLs w/ bad lines, SR5 doll i really want to give A2 full skill investments, as i use her in pvp too, but it's really hard to justify such an amount, since outside of pvp, she's really niche. i hope this helps, and good luck with your runs ~
