You're correct about asumption. The character this song is about is Rapi, the poster child of the game and probably in the top 3 of main characters. After Redhoods death Rapi became one with what was left of her, carrying her legacy and becoming stronger and braver. And it finally gave us our beloved SSR version of Rapi :)

Also about Nien, they did a new track "Footstep, Walk, Run" , you can give it a listen. It became one of my favorites "scenario/event" tracks and underated like Black Gunsmoke [Scenario Ver.] from AJURIKA but both selected for this event.

You are correct, the song is about Rapi (the cover girl for Nikke and one of the main heroines of this story). She is the successor of Red Hood's legacy after meeting her in her early days as a Nikke, shaping her once "aimless" character into what she is today 😊 Also, obligatory suggestion to listen to Kill the Lord from Nikke and Dancing through Fantasies from Wuthering Waves

Rapi is THE main girl of the game, she’s the leader of the main squad and the closest love interest to the protagonist, and this event with this song was finally about her mysterious backstory and related to her getting a new playable character that is SSR rarity since up until now her only playable unit was SR rarity. Additionally you are right about the song being about Red Hood Spoilers for anyone event and story . . . Rapi in the event was shown to be trained by Red Hood leading up to her dying moments and she made it her goal to literally become Red Hood, but in recent chapters she was confronted about this and told she can carry on RH’s legacy and will while still being Rapi and when she finally accepted that she transformed into what would be her ideal version of herself

Went through and binged a bunch of these, and on your video on "Hero" from Nikke you pointed out that people asked you to review "The Wings of Victory" and you already had a long time ago in one of the first Nikke reacts, but unless I can't find the video, it looks like you reacted to "Goddess of Victory" from the Overzone event but not "The Wings of Victory" from Chapter 18. So I would look into that one whenever you have a lull from no new songs dropping. Otherwise keep it up, love your videos not just the Nikke reacts, stuff like Ace Combat and Project Moon has been fun.

Rapi is the face of the whole game. You see her on the game icon, aside from collab times, she is the face on the game loading screen (and even during collabs, she's sometimes still featured). She's been a character that is part of the story since the tutorial and this event was the backstory detailing her connection to Red Hood (we knew for a while, but we never had her backstory before), and now Rapi has fully succeeded Red Hood. Bonus, but she's jumped from tutorial levels of power to top 3 character in the game. I'm honestly looking forward to the next popularity contest. It used to be pretty cut and dry that Cinderella would sweep the contest, but having "The Nikke" join the running on more than just narrative loyalty should be interesting.

I was totally not waiting for your reaction for something like 5 days or above. Totally not lemao. But seriously ,Rapi the girl in the video and she is indeed taking over Red hood s legacy. In the beginning she thought that becoming red hood was the only thing but then later realised that she wanted to become like her instead of becoming her and that is how everything went. For somebody that doesn't listen to rock very much this is one of the least rock song that I listen daily,so hecking good.

Cos the latter one has an english translation of the lyrics in it's video, that might help..?
