I'm a woman who was attacked and stalked by an ex, and I reserved judgment on this one. Artem is the one who called the police and stated his wife was throwing shoes at him. That's not the behavior of a man who assaulted his wife, although, he may have tried to restrain her, or thrown a shoe back at her...who knows. I followed their story, and with the limited knowledge I have, I'm pulling for Artem.

Just remember in one of the shows episode Nikki and Artem were asked by Kathy if anything would happen to their relationship, what about Matteo and Nikki quickly stated that Matteo would go with her because she is the mother. My thoughts: We don't really know what even happened so don't be quick to judge Nikki is known to have a temper, so her throwing shoes because of an argument is believeable. Artem then called the police and later tried to tell them not to come. Keep in mind Nikki did not call the police (probably meaning she wasn't specifically planning to put charges on him). It is also known that the victim (likely Nikki) was very cooperative with the cops. If she was lying to the cops, I don't think the charges would drop so soon. It is also known that Brie encouraged Nikki to file for divorce meaning Nikki wasn't initially thinking to divorce him. She wanted to save the relationship by doing couples therapy, so if she wanted to divorce him she probably would had done it earlier. With information we have we can't actually tell what happened.

I got banned from the Wrestling Observer message board for a year by basically insinuating that Nikki Bella never got over John Cena. Nikki wore the wedding dress she bought when she was engaged to John Cena at her wedding with Artem. Wow. Artem was her rebound relationship. Now that enough time has passed, Nikki wanted out of the relationship because Artem was not her first choice. So what does Nikki do; she tries to emasculate Artem to the point where he would break up with her with a divorce. When I got banned, I made the argument that Nikki was making a false claim (she filed for divorce after I got banned). And now the charges are dropped, where there is smoke, there could be fire. (Nothing I said is factual, it's my guesses based on circumstanial evidence).

I don’t know what happened and I won’t jump to conclusions. Hopefully, they can resolve this as amicably as possible for the sake of their child. If they weren’t parents I could care less how they presented themselves, but in this case they need to be more mature. He walked out to avoid the constant arguments about it (he should have done that with Nikki but i bet he didn't want to leave his son). The facts are both Nikki and Artem have anger issues. Leah Thompson said he was a perfectionist and didn't like that she struggled to learn the routines, others have said it too. When Nikki was on DWTS she said she couldn't tell if he was mad at her because of the tone of his voice. Putting it all on Nikki because of her TV persona isn't right.

What i think of Nikki has nothing to do with her TV persona i agree that would be unfair. I've loved her until recently even with how she treated Artem on IG lives and her podcasts. But either way they are obviously better off apart so this can be a good thing for both.

This sounds stupid. He calls the cops because she threw a shoe. They probably both were arguing, he started coming towards her and she threw the shoe in self defense because she is scared of him. He calls 911 and then tries to call them back to say forget it but they are on their way anyways. The police feel like they have to arrest someone or they could of just had them separate for the night but instead they arrest him after separating them and talking to both and determine he was the aggressor. Where is it that Nikki lied? Just because the prosecution doesn't go through with the charges doesn't mean anyone lied. Maybe the victim doesn't want to prosecute, maybe there wasn't pictures taken at the time , maybe it was he said she said type situation. I don't believe he is innocent or that the truth prevailed in this situation. I do think they just need to move on from each other.
