FYI: Following the song, Dany calls them to come to the center of the stage to take a bow. They also accompanied Paulina on the song "Black Holes" which also was not written with a string section accompaniment. This was a special arrangement for the Pepsi Center concert. The string arrangement was by David Garza. In February TW have 3 concert at the Auditorio National in Mexico City, 2 of which are sold out, with a capacity of 10k. The Pepsi Center is 8k. This will be their largest headling venue and no telling what they have planned.

@@thomasalbrecht5914 I could claim the easy correct prediction with this Wembley, Lzzy Hale's "Live At Wembley" album was recorded at the OVO Arena Wembley, December 9, 2023, with seating capacity of 12,500. but no, I'm all in for this Wembley Stadium for The Warning - even those not in the Warning Army would probly say TW are way better than Blur and Killers 2023: The Weeknd: Sold out, estimated attendance of 90,000 per night. Blur: estimated attendance of 80,000. Ed Sheeran: Multiple sold-out shows, estimated total attendance of over 250,000. 2024: Taylor Swift: Sold out, estimated attendance of 90,000 per night for six shows. Robbie Williams: estimated attendance of 80,000. The Killers: estimated attendance of 75,000. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band: estimated attendance of 80,000.

@ we agree that it is probably just a matter of time, but quality was and is never the critical issue. I am always shocked at the numbers that pretty mediocre artists will rake up - in my town, there are bigger venues than the one TW will play at next April, and that will be the biggest yet in the country. But I have seen advertisements for the acts in some of those bigger venues, and it wouldn’t be enough to pay me for seeing them, you’d have to point a gun at me the whole time…

Yeah, this is epic. And I'm usually a sucker for symphonic metal, like Nightwish and Epica, but for some reason, I prefer the Teatro Metropolitan version of Enter Sandman, even though I prefer the Pepsi Center for everything else. Maybe it's because when it's just DPA, without any distracting additional instruments in the background, it's easier to hear what a masterpiece they have turned Enter Sandman into, and that it now belongs to them. That said, Black Holes, another song where the orchestra is playing, gets even more emotional with strings attached, if that's even possible.
@ancltube5 күн бұрын
The Metropolitan version is my preferred version as well. This one with the orchestra is also fantastic, but it is not as clear and well defined as the Metro version. That one is perfection. I recommend everyone who likes this version and has not heard the Metro version to give it a go.
@Pascal-the-Rascal4 күн бұрын
Either way, it's a damn good song, that sounds like it would have, if DPA wrote it first, and not Metallica, so I consider it a TW original. They not only reinvented the wheel, they improved it, now it's even rounder than before. I'd love to see them live someday, I think I heard a reactor say that they'll come to Sweden Rock this summer, but it's some distance from where I live. And I'm not much of a festival kind of person. I'd rather go to a show where they are headlining, like when I went to see Kiss, Iron Maiden, and AC/DC.

@ancltube4 күн бұрын
@Pascal-the-Rascal The full concert video has proper english subtitles in the video itself. Much better than the auto-translated ones that are the only choice available for the individual song videos. The full video has chapters so it is easy to find where the songs begin. Just before the start of Black Holes, Dany is also doing a small introduction explaining the special "surprise" to come that is also worth including.
