Nikkor Mirrorless 70-200 S Lens first impressions

I have been shooting with the Nikkor 70-200 S lens on my film sets and this Lens in an engineering masterpiece! It's a fine piece of glass, possibly the best I have ever used, I am getting deeper blacks and stronger contrast, oh and most important to me this lens is completely silent on my film sets!. If you shoot on any of the Nikon Z Systems you need to save for this lens!

After about 8 months of being preordered, it arrived last week. And it’s focusing on my Z7 is mind blowing. It’s the best lens I own now, and I have a closet full of F mount glass. One of my testing it was at 500 feet. I set it at focus tracking and shot it hand held at 200mm. Then I compared it to the Nikkor 200-500mm at 500mm. Both used aperture of f/5.6 and the new lens seemed a lot sharper. Now I’m looking to sell the Monster and save my 79 year old body.

Great to see this lens is coming available. I have the standard F mount F2.8 lenses but have friends used the F & Z mount versions and are switching to the Nikon Z mount suits there needs. I wont switch to the Z mount version until a Pro body mirrorless equivalent of my D5 and D6 cameras comes into existence. My main clients are in action,sports and wildlife areas so the Z6 and Z7 cameras aren't quick enough for my needs.

I git mine too but i have a issue with it my focus box jumps around or more the picture make after pressing to shoot jumps 2mm right or left or up or down super anoyig any idea why the vr does that?

What focus mode is it set to?

Jasin Boland single or continous it does not matter the image is jumping Was shooting a concert aiming on the mouth of the singer and jump on the mic again aiming jumps on the nose etc... the lens is super fast ans amazing sharp but i dont like the fact that it make thoes strange jumps
